Middle of the road ,average, about half….in every way. Had dinner with the family and based off the reviews, we were excited. We are big Indian food fans. This restaurant was a let down in almost every category. Ambiance was nice, but nothing spectacular. Service was rushed, and not overly friendly. It took over an hour to get our entrees. Maybe they were short staffed? There seemed to be 1 waiter for the entire place. And the food…..perfectly average. Naan was good but everything else? Nothing special. Not sure what these 5 star reviewers were eating. My advice? Take your Indian food fix elsewhere.
We eat here regularly. So far, our family has tried kadai eggplant, chana (chickpea) masala, chicken Tikka Masala, chicken mango curry, chicken biryani, butter chicken, goat biryani. Everything is 5 stars. The garlic Naan is delicious. The service is great. Servers explain that the spice is India heat, not America. I like spicy, but went with medium on their recommendation. Perfect. Aroma is my pick for Mother's Day - nuff said!
Just stopped for the lunch buffet. The selection was diverse and lots of good things to eat. I sampled everything and was delighted with most of the dishes. Some were just not my “taste”. Will be going back and would recommend you try it.
The customer service is horrible. I called to see what is on the buffet and the gentleman that picked up the phone said you have to come here and see for yourself. I wanted know what they had on the buffet so I know if my kids will eat or not. Not worth driving 1.5hr for this horrible customer service. If they are like this over the phone imagine how they are in person!
Oh my goodness! We just had dinner here and I couldn't wait to give them 5 stars!! Everything we ordered was outstanding and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant so satisfied. We're already dreaming of our next dinner here. Come eat here!!
Way to make your guests feel unwelcome! After hearing good reviews about their food, we went out of our way to dine in at this place. We walked in with great excitement which evaporated moments after we stepped into this restaurant. We stood there for over 5 minutes with our baby to be seated. The host/wait staff not only saw us walk-in but walked around us to get to the host stand up without even saying hello. We kept looking at him but he didn’t even acknowledge our presence. Customer service was just non existent. They were only 3 tables seated at the time. We don’t mind waiting but if they can’t even bother to spare simple courtesy we have no problem taking our patronage elsewhere.
Ok so this is the best indiand restaurant I've been to. This place has the most professional and friendly service. Each and every food I tried was spectacular. Do be aware that this restaurant does not lie when they ask if you want your food spicy. If you want spicy, they deliver.
My wife and I, Chicago residents, spend our winter months in Bonita Springs! We love Indian food but were brought up eating mild dishes! We both highly dislike HOT Indian food but love tasty Indian cuisine. So, in the last ten years we have rarely gone to an Indian restaurant because none served the food of our liking until we ran into Aroma! The food was tasty, mild and appetizing! Service was great and courteous. Decor was elegant and subtle! We recommend it highly!
Sorry, I did the online ordering. Ordered three things and they forgot the mango chutney. The most important item. No excuse. Ruined my dinner and evening.
The lunch buffet and staff is great. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. I'm definitely going back.
