I was told that Andre's was the closest thing to Peter Luger's in New York, WRONG! I had a better steak at Texas Roadhouse and didn't have to pay $52 for that steak. Steak was like shoe leather and waiter said to order medium well to get medium because they purposely undercook their steaks. WRONG AGAIN, steak came out medium well. Worst $80 I ever spent in my life!
Well the food it good, but it is WAY overpriced. I would be yelling off the roof tops if this place was 20 - 25% less . . . . so so overpriced for SW Florida . . . . could care less that it is in Naples (it is NOT on 5th Ave) and it has NOT been renovated in 50 years if it ever was to begin with. I DOUBT I will return for the reasons stated but if you want to BURN $$$$ be my guest . . . . .
Nice quant steakhouse minutes from the beach. Excellent steaks made in a signature way. We had the filet mignon and it was cooked really nice. Medium well appeared more like medium while medium appeared medium rare so select wisely. All sides are Ala cart. Really nice bread. Waiter is very nice. Worth going. Extensive drink menu.
Andres is Naples and is the Peter Lugers of SW Florida. The Porterhouse for 2, a wedge salad, spinach and an old fashion. Doesn’t get any better with waiters who have a little bulk. Predates the other Naples steakhouse chains. Not fancy but worth the visit.
Excellent steak, everything is a la cart, portions are large. The steak flavor and texture were second to none. You will not be sorry, Hermann was our waiter and was excellent.
Second time there. Long time Lugers and Wolfgang’s fan. Smell of mothballs in dining room, $22 for 6 small shrimps with no taste. Porterhouse not cooked right. Like it came out of a steamer instead of broiler. Just overpriced and ripping off the Lugers brand.
I love this restaurant and the service. I went today for the second time and the food and service were just as I remembered it from the first time I went. We made a reservation and we asked for the same waiter called Luke to serve us and he was wonderful just as the first time. You will not be disappointed eating here and the deserts are very delicious as well. Go, Andre's Steak House will not dissapoint.
Old fashioned steakhouse, basically a knockoff of Peter Luger. Server David just fine. Atmosphere great for meat and potatoes place. Food quality high. Expensive. But glad we visited.
We shared a tomato salad with Andre's special sauce and blue cheese. The tomatoes were very good and the blue cheese was generous. Our main course was the porterhouse for two. The steak was of the highest quality, perfectly cooked ( it was recommended by friends who hail from Kansas City) and the portion large enough for us to bring home some for a second dinner. Luke, our waiter was especially kind and helped us celebrate our anniversary with ice cream sundaes.
I have eaten their 10 or 12 times in the last 5 years and another 10 times in the last 10 years the best steak house in southwest Florida. I would say it is on the same scale or better than Ruth Chris or Mortons"s of Chicago the Ocean Club in Columbus or Naples. Excellent service and the atmosphere is old time feel.
