Went in for a margarita at the bar and was disappointed by the lack of service provided. After ordering, we watched the server talk to a patron for several minutes before even pouring our drinks out of a gallon jug. There were few people in the Cafe but was hoping this would be a place we would like to frequent and after finishing our chips and asking for more ( which were listed in menu for 2.95 and then changed 4.95 because menu was wrong) we decided that we would find somewhere else to spend our $
Fantastic food and was very fresh. I had tamales that melted in my mouth. I got a lunch special and the beans and rice that came with it were some of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants over my lifetime. The restaurant is very quaint inside with some beautiful murals. It’s a must visit, if you like Mexican food. Our server didn’t rush us at all so we didn’t feel hurried. My husband and I will return soon! What a great find!!
Look… I was born in Mexico and have eaten a lot of wonderful Mexican food and have been to many Mexican Restaurants… And of course some memorable home cooked Mexican meals… Amigo’s Cafe is by far one of the most charming Mexican Restaurants ever… Most important is the fabulous food… Every time we go the food is consistently superb… Service… Friendly and accommodating … Amico’s Cafe is a true local, and family owned, place in East Naples… I can’t imagine anyone giving this little Mexican place anything less than 5 stars… The only way would be if you were looking for more than beer, wine, and Sangria… A local Guy…
What a surprise, I’ve passed this restaurant 100x. It’s located in a little strip mall and the restaurant from outside looks very small, but it’s not. Food was delicious, best homemade chips I’ve had in a long time, the food was delicious and authentic. I will definitely be going back.
This is a great family owned eatery that is no frills and all about good food. This place is very popular and can get crowded during prime dinner hours. I chose the chili rellenos ( my favorite ) and surprisingly I was offered either cheese or meat filling ! usually it just cheese. I chose one of each and was well pleased with both. Outside seating is limited but ample inside. A place for very good food at the right price.

Good Mexican food, We always a get a combo where you can mix your selection. Friendly servers and clean tables. Usually busy. Sometimes a wait at dinner.
Great food. Shredded beef plentiful and delicious. Made two meals of it twice. Serve Pico and hot sauces instead of salsa. Very chunky which I like. Two burrito lunch smothered in cheese. Good place, fair prices.
I would not listen to the reviews or at least double think before coming here. The meat for the tacos is awful quality. Horchata tastes like water. I understand the world being short staffed but it wasn't even that busy and the service was not the greatest. It has a appealing authentic Mexican look the quality of the food does not match up. Do not recommend!
Always Good, Always Fresh, love the carna asada taco's and they have refried bean. Great Pico de gallo and homemade chips, you can't go wrong!
