I can honestly say this was the worst dining experience I have had in Naples. Seated outside, you have the cigarette smoke creating an unpleasant environment if you are a non-smoker. The grouper is billed as fresh but it didn’t have the taste or texture of fresh fish. The sides were mass produced and not good. I think they are capable of serving much better food but they simply don’t care to put forth the effort.
Really great experience here, incase you’re looking for a good place to eat while in Naples, FL! Very accommodating! They made a custom steak salad, very good sweat tea (which is apparently hard to find down here ?) had a good atmosphere and great music! If you know me, I’m not a huge fan of seafood, but their fried shrimp was delicious and my brother and sister-in-law enjoyed their seafood and crab rangoons, they said it was better than pinchers, and better prices! 10/10 would recommend and eat here again! Some of the best customer service we’ve had since we’ve been down here! thank you!
Alice Sweetwaters is one of my regular stops when I am in Naples every year. There are elegant high priced restaurants in Naples by the score.....This is not one of them. A old fashioned bar with great food at reasonable prices. While I normally default to the fried grouper sandwich and fries, last week I had a grilled wahoo special. Excellent! Simple choices of wines and beers, don't look for a wine list and a sommelier. Full bar. Only problem is it is very popular and expect to wait. We were lucky last week when we arrived at 6pm and were seated in the outdoor bar area in 20 minutes.
Pros: The grouper and chowder was good. We only had a 30 min. wait to be seated. Cons: My call, “Id like to make reservations for four.” Response, “We don’t take reservations and I have no idea what the best time to come in is.” Click. Waitress served my meal and dropped the coleslaw upside down on my lap. The waitress had to redo our checks 3 times due to errors. So loud we had to shout to hear one another.
Crab cakes and alligator bites a must. Everything was delicious we had a table of 10 everyone loved everything.
Can’t believe I’d never been here before - though many people have recommended it. Went for lunch and it was clear there were a good number of repeat diners. Definitely a neighborhood favorite. My husband wanted the corned beef special and he said it was delicious. I had the fish tacos and they were very good. Service people are really friendly. I suspect you need reservations for evening dining during season. But we were able to get a table without a reservation for lunch. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely add this to our list of places to go.
What great hospitality! We had 8 in our party and the waitress, Karen was superb ?. We had 4 separate checks but she was flawless in her service. One sandwich was late but not late enough where is was an issue. I normally do not have dessert but I had the Key Lime pie before my meal so I would have enough room and so worth it! My meal was the lobster tail BLT wnd a side of fries with Cajun spices and cheese. AAAAmazing! Yes I did spell that correctly. ❤
Top-notch pub grub, a nice batch of craft cocktails and very reasonable prices. Very happy to have found this East Naples treasure.
Very good dinner and atmosphere last week. We met a friend and had a comfortable table we're we could talk and catch up. Food and drinks were very good and waitress took good care of us. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting Naples.
Real nice place! Great inside, bar, and outdoor seating. Was very busy when we went and service was great. The food was very good and the oysters were awesome! Recommend giving it a try!
