Walked in and asked the two young girls at the counter if they had decaf coffee. The girl responded with “yes, but I’m not sure if it’s hot”. So, what does that mean? I can’t have any? You can’t make any more? You have no way to heat it up? Am I willing to take it even if it’s not hot? So I asked if they had a microwave and she said yes. I said, “OK, well if it’s not hot, can you heat it up for me?” While she was pouring the coffee the other girl charged me for the two coffees. After the girl that was preparing the coffee‘s handed them to me she proceeded to ring up the two coffees (again)…So, we paid over $7.00 for 2, not so hot cups of black decaf coffee… BTW…you are a COFFEE SHOP!!! It’s in your NAME…!!! How do you NOT have HOT coffee!?!

Wandered in but was immediately surprised by the atmosphere and the owner who has to be the most welcoming person to ever work with the public. We ordered cappuccinos and torts and began to take in the cafe and it’s friendly owner, all three were superb.
We found this cozy shop to be delightfully stocked with goodies and quick delicious cappuccinos, but the real treat was the owner, a handsome gentleman with a perfect command of his trade, we felt right at home at the Village Coffee Pot and are headed back asap! Hits the nail perfectly on the head!
I enjoyed a delightful cup I was brewed coffee, which today was the house blend. It was a medium dark roast that was full of character. My wife enjoyed the hot chocolate.

The Village Coffee Pot has the best and most reasonable coffee in town. I'm a local, so I know. Great people too, very hospitable. Give it a go. I love their espresso.
There were two girls, seemed like in high school, working when I went in for ice cream. They were very unfriendly and not accommodating to what I asked. The toppings they had on display were also not the same topics they placed on my ice cream, and none to replace them, so I paid for toppings without getting any once I got a new ice cream.
