Great food and peach iced tea

Super cute and perfect for high tea. The food is fantastic.

Unique experience. Many different teas.

The food and tea were great! The owners were really really nice. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 is our server. She was attentive at first, but then another table came in (she was only serving us and this other table at the time. It was no busy) and we got ignored for a while. We asked for sugar multiple times. She even came to the table and said “I forgot your sugar, didn’t I?” Then still never brought it. I had to get up and ask for it at the counter. Maybe she just didn’t like us haha but the service time left a lot to be desired. And to be clear, I’ve been a server before, and I understand how it gets when people are busy, splitting checks, etc. This was not one of those situations.

Last night was a Mother's Day dinner. Didn't even get water for 1/2 an hour. Food order taken another 20 min later. Started at 6:30. At 7 a very good but VERY loud singer started and sang for almost a full 2 1/2 hours. Tiny venue. Way too loud and not appropriate for a tea room. Food arrived at 8:15 minus one of our meals that was given to another table. When we complained, 15 min later it was brought out only to be hurriedly cooked in a microwave we are guessing. Awful. Don't recommend this place what so ever Loved being with family but the music took all the fun out of trying to have a nice chat.

Let me start by saying the service was wonderful , they were courteous and prompt. The decor was that of my grandmothers house more so than a British, elegant light and airy tea room. The Atmosphere was more on the heavy rather cottage look rather than the elegant Windsor Castle (crimson drawing room) in London. Also the food was rather perkins style nothing above average or elegant in taste or presentation. The scones especially were dry and void of flavor. The reason to come to a tea room is to be impressed as if they prepared everything with the finest of details to wow you, as if you were royalty!

I absolutely loved visiting this place. I went with the ladies in my family for a girls day. It was just a pleasant spot. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I got there but I was more than surprised on how enjoyable my experience was. I literally felt like a little girl at a tea party. The tea and little sandwiches were so good. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

Had lunch here on a Thursday. We made reservation because we know it can be hard to get in. Haven’t been back since Covid hit in March of 2020. This visit, March of 2022 was evidence that the food was as good as ever. Husband had the Cornish Pasty (just as good as his mom used to make, he declared). I had the steak and mushroom pie. Delicious! Topped off our lunch with a scone with cream and jam. Yum, yum, YUM! Loved seeing lots of families enjoying tea together. Daddies pouring tea for their young children, som women even wore fascinations for a tea party. Love eating here!

Been desperately wanting to go there for a very long time my daughter and I finally made it. The food and service was outstanding. We will be back and next time bringing friends with us. Well worth the drive to Mount Dora and spending a really relaxing day enjoying the area.
