I’ve been here twice. My first visit last year made me want to visit again this year. The drink menu and craft beer selection is dreamy. I got a coffee drink both visits. Yesterday I had the old fashioned cold brew (twice, lol.) it was really good. However, I don’t drink caffeine regularly and I really needed a boost to make the 3 he drive home and either the cold brew is exceptionally weak or it was decaf. This is odd considering the process for cold brew, and it typically has more caffeine than regular coffee. I did not get the cherry, I added milk, and no ice. I got carry out from the Indian restaurant next door, and we hung out for a couple of hours, and really enjoyed our visit before heading back to Sarasota.The first visit, last summer, the owner was working and the customer service was great. Yesterday, the one girl that had ended her shift and was sitting at the bar was more helpful than the 2 girls behind the bar. The 2 girls behind the bar could use some training in customer service and professionalism, one more than the other. If I hadn’t finally asked for a menu, i prob would not have received one. Neither of the girls asked if we were ready to order, so I finally went to the bar. The girls were definitely preoccupied with their friends at the bar, but one finally asked if I’d like to order ?♀️ she constantly had her hands in her hair, and did not wash them prior to making my drink. A couple other things that bothered me were: 1. vaping was allowed at the bar (which is a very small space.) 2. The baristas were eating at the bar, and didn’t wash their hands/ sanitize prior to serving customers. Their priority def was not the random customers walking in or ppl at the tables. 3. They didn’t acknowledge anyone that came in, customers had to ask for service.I would give this place a 5 star based on my first visit and the drink selection; however, the lack of customer attention and service the 2nd visit makes me want to give a 3 star- so I’m giving 4 stars.
If I lived in Mount Dora this would definitely be my new hangout! I got a delicious sweet cream cold brew that I slipped on while listening to live music with my friends. They also have a great selection of local Florida beers such as Angry Chair on draft. We had to make a second stop there on the way out of town to grab another delicious cold brew. Very cool place!
It's a nice place and fun atmosphere. It has open mic Thursday nights the owner is always there and she's extremely polite and cool. I heard there's karaoke but I haven't gone for that yet.
The coffee is great, atmosphere is amazing! I’m new to mount dora & have tired a few different places and this is the best by far. However I did stop going to another location downtown Mount Dora because of one girl that was not friendly at all, very rude & dry and she is now at this location so I will avoid coming in here when she is working because I had her the other day and she was very rude again.
Great little craft beer bar. Very relaxed atmosphere. Could probably benefit from having more than 1 bartender working, but I suppose that's just the world we live in these days. Still a good place that I enjoy.
Late night coffee shop! Love it!Customer service was excellent.Coffee tasted good, our barista was skilled and the atmosphere was chilled and felt unique, local, personal.Will come back.
Made in heaven. Excellent selection, we versed in both coffee and craft beer. Amazing live music and a selection of coffee dessert and mead too.Come here to enjoy yourself while in Mount Dora, you won't be disappointed. I'd bet my soul on it.
Serendipity has a cool vibe with a mixture of brews and coffee with a selection of sweets. They have live music some nights and DJs as well. A good place for a group of friends and they have board/card games to choose to from. Had a great time and will definitely be back.
Coffee, wine, and beer. Wonderful place to get a pick me up during the day or hang at night for some friends and fun. This was my favorite hangout in all of MT Dora. The staff is fast, funny, and friendly. During the day I had the cold brew with sweet cream. At night I enjoyed the on tap brews. This place is all sorts of fun. We also enjoyed the kareoke on Friday night.
Exceptional. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. Wonderful coffee drinks. Great variety and selection. Dave is a cool guy.
