Great food! We sat at the bar and the bartender took incredible care of us. The bread, calamari, and our meals were all very tasty. Our only recommendation would be to find a way to dampen some of the sound in the restaurant. With an all tile floor, it is a very loud place during the dinner rush.

The restaurant's a/c system was out and we were seated close to the door inside, neither of which were open to allow air inside. My friend and I decided to eat outside instead. The food was excellent, flavorful and very tasty. We both had the Veal. I had the Marsala ($29) and the mushrooms were large and very flavorful. The veal was so wonderful. My friend had the Veal Piccata ($28) with Angel Hair Pasta. It was a melt in your mouth delight. I had a taste of hers and she had a taste of mine. The entrees were quite delicious. I had a cup of the clam chowder soup and it was excellent. She had the Mediterranean salad and said it was also excellent. The meals came with bread and a bowl of imported italian olive oil, I believe a balsamic vinegar and herbs. Very delicious. The meals were normally served with rice but I am allergic and we both were offered the pasta as another option. Overall, the food was phenomenal. The service on the other hand left a lot to be desired. The waitress --well, we decided that perhaps she was new?? We asked about the beer and it wasn't what we wanted. She never asked us a out any other drinks or wine or cocktails. She just told us she give us a few minutes and left. We were already to order at that point. I wanted a cocktail, but wasn't given the option. So we both drank water throughout the entire meal, no offer of coffee or anything else. When my soup arrived, she had spilled it all over the saucer and spoon and set it in front of me anyway. Never cleaned it up, apologized, nothing. She took off before I could say anything. I traded spoons with the one that came with the oil. The rest of the dinner went "well" (were very good with filling water glasses) until the busboy? asked us if we'd need boxes half way through our meal. My friend said probably. Next thing we knew he appeared with 2 boxes in hand and snatched her plate away in the middle of her dinner. He then proceeded to reach across the table and grab my food for which I loudly told him I was still eating. He said something about leaving the box on the table and did. Were they trying to get rid of us??? Then someone brought the check. I was still eating. I'm a slow eater. There were plenty of tables. My friend and I were visiting and I was eating and she barely put her card in the holder and changed her mind about which card to use and he came back and tried to snatch that out of her hands. I loudly told him again, she wasn't ready! Although the food was phenomenal, the service was abominable.

Good food good service. Took a group of 15 senior citizens there and the staff just warmed up to them and helped our day go great!

Read the great reviews so had to give it a try! The lunch menu looked great. Our server wasn't that friendly but the place quiet and clean. I ordered the Chicken Broccoli Franchisee and the Grilled pita (plain not seasoned and had to send back as it wasn't grilled), humus appetizer. The sides had great flavor. The Chicken dish I ordered was buried in so much sauce that ruined the dish. It came with with 2 pieces of Chicken and 2 pieces of batter dipped broccoli, which both lost its batter and had fallen off. The flavor was good but made the chicken too soggy. There was so much sauce you couldn't even see the rice below. As a frequent visitor to Mount Dora, we have found the food in the area "not great." I tried using Yelp-and Trip Advisor as a reference. Another ok meal but not great.

We enjoyed a delightful meal, food was good, the bruschetta was unique and tasty. One of the better restaurants in town. We sat outside on the side, view of the lake, it was lovely, good service and not rushed. We would go back.

The atmosphere is nice however the food was mediocre at best. If you are looking for authentic Italian dishes this is not the place for you. The service was decent but nothing to rave about.

We just had lunch here and had high hopes based on reviews. Unfortunately, we thought the standard was somewhat lacking. All the food was just room temperature. The water was served in styrofoam cups. The ‘spicy’ mussels weren’t spicy and my wife’s ‘Spinach Pie’ was served on a paper plate. Considering the atmosphere of this place and the prices charged, you’d expect to have food served on actual crockery.I initially wanted a personal pizza and was abruptly told “We’re out of crusts, order something else”. In my experience, that’s not an appropriate way to talk to patrons. It was a disappointing experience based on our expectations. We should have gone to Goblin Market.

Such a great place !!! I loved it! We went here to have a dinner with our friend.Fantastic menu and food! Dessert are delicious! Especially Creme brûlée made by owner it’s fantastic !!! :heart_eyes:By the way our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks.

We enjoyed a nice Italian meal, cocktails and a sunset while listening to music. What more could you ask for on a trip to Mt. Dora? Make a reservation and request the outdoor patio, you won’t be disappointed.

Good food. Excellent service. Nice outdoor setting you can sit on the quiet side or the side with music. Nice to have a choice. Food is good. Not a wow, but tasty and a fair price.
