Surprisingly good ice cream! It gets a little busy sometimes, but you'll be glad you waited. Not much seating at all at the location, but there are plenty of benches across the street. Great treat spot!
Went to the Mount Dora area for shopping and stopped in for some sweets. The young woman who was working seemed annoyed to have customers, and didn’t remove her air pods. My nephew wanted three Macaroons, the sign stated “1 cookie for $1.99, 3 for $4.99”. When we checked out we realized we were charged $4.99 per cookie. My sister and I brought this to the workers attention thinking it was an accident, but she rudely stated that the sign is wrong and there’s nothing that she could do about it. She said “if it makes you feel any better, grab something else.” She was by far the rudest customer service worker I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER go back.
We had gone into another ice cream shop across the street from this one first. I won’t mention their name in this review but due to the lack of flavors I ended up going here instead. I’m so glad I did!They have a terrific variety of ice cream and gelato flavors. Although I only bought one scoop, they also have a selection of “throw back” candies as well as fudge and chocolates.I had their Banana Cake ice cream and it tasted fresh and very banana”ie”! I was so excited about the flavor, and how good it was that I forgot to take a picture to share!
3rd time going there! I really enjoy the Cookie Monster ice cream! I decided to try the macaroons. It was delicious!
Wonderful service! The staff working are incredibly friendly and attentive. The store also has a large selection of candies, chocolates, gelato and ice cream! I stopped by here on Christmas Eve and was astounded at how elegant the interior design is. I highly recommend this store to anyone visiting Mount Dora!
Nice place but a bit over priced compared to the other places near by but the hot chocolate latte was really good and chocolates are really over priced. I spent $40 on 5 pieces of chocolate and two small hot chocolates. They also only had one person working in the evening three days before Christmas. Poor girl looked over worked having to take care of all the traffic coming in. Definitely tipped her due to all her hard work.
My friend and I stopped in this evening, she ordered ice cream and I bought some of their chocolates. The staff was very friendly and my friend enjoyed her ice cream. I ordered 6 small chocolates which came to $12, extremely high price in my opinion. This ultimately would’ve been fine, BUT the chocolate tasted old and similar to that of the cheap dollar store Valentine’s chocolates in a heart that I typically just toss.Go in for ice cream or gelato, but steer clear of the chocolate.
Trinity is amazing. My child has food allergies. She wasn’t bothered in the least to find allergen labels for us. Very clean, changed gloves and my allergenic daughter was able to enjoy a wonderful treat. I’d give you 10 stars if I could for the smile on my kiddos face :) very knowledgeable I might add in food prep and labeling also which is so important with 1 in 4 children having allergies now!!
Ice cream is amazing. The people serving you are extremely rude. Seemed upset that I was even in the shop. Will try another ice cream shop next time.
I love this ice cream shop. I am always served quickly and politely. the staff are nice and the ice cream is delicious!!!! definitely stop by and get yourself some delicious ice cream.
