Had this amazing eggs Benedict breakfast. The poached egg was done perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was the ? along with the potato pancakes (served with applesauce and sour cream.) So good!
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast on their first morning of breakfast service. Our Jose Knows omelettes and Fried Texas French Toast looked wonderful and tasted delicious. The service was outstanding as always.
We stopped for a quick lunch yesterday and we were greatly impressed!!! First time visiting Fifth Ave Streatery and won’t be our last. Our server was very kind (sorry I forgot your name) I had the special blackened mahi with rice and salad, and my boyfriend asked for the shrimp basket and a couple of sodas, both meals were really good! Fish was perfectly cooked, nice and juicy! We will definitely go back, keep it up guys!

My Wife and I decided to try a new restaurant for a change. She picked this one and I am so glad she did. We were greeted upon arrival and promptly seated. I chose the daily special, which was pot roast, and my Wife ordered the Skirt Steak. WE both enjoyed are meals and will definitely be back. The service by the staff was also excellant. We will be back.
Loved this place! We had lunch here for the first time today, we'll definitely be going back for the great food and service! The menu and drinks are great, they even have a dog menu! Our waitress Alexandria was wonderful and sweet. Somewhere to enjoy the weather outdoors and have a delightful lunch/brunch with friends/family and your furry Babies!
Not what we expected. Outside dining next to extremely noisy road. Not much ambiance. Food ok,nothing spectacular. Nice wait staff and plenty of parking though. Just out of downtown area. Daily specials. The chicken pot pie was a bowl of chicken stew with a puff pastry placed on top. Good burger though.
First time trying this place out and sadly I won’t be returning. Maybe it was just a mishap on my order but first impressions are lasting.Pros - Outdoor seating , big spacious tables , great and courteous staff, big selection of beers, self seating so zero wait time on tables if one is available. The deviled eggs were the only good thing I was served.Cons- the rest of the food I ordered , I ordered a crab cake which was $18.99 and I love crab cake but sadly there wasn’t any flavor to the room temp appetizer I received. I ordered the Mediterranean Skirt Steak medium well, and ended up with an extra crispy extra well done steak with about 12 fries on the side. The waitress informed me that the crispy steak shrunk so they would be giving me an extra piece that was medium well. Look at the picture for comparison.We ordered chicken tenders and fries for my daughter and those also came out extra dark and extra fried , sadly my daughter took one bite and refused to touch it again. My wife ordered the fish n chips which looked good but she said had no flavor. I had high hopes because this place looks great and staff was nice but the food was seriously lacking. I won’t be returning .
My son and visited this place today and was blown away. The service was great and the food amazing. I had the crab cake sandwich. Never had I had a better crab cake!! And I have had them in the fanciest of restaurants. My son had the shrimp tacos that were cooked to perfection . We were so impressed we even tipped the cooks!! It is a must go to in Mt. Dora. Thank you.
Placed a pickup order at the restaurant and waited 45 minutes. Burgers were ordered well done and were medium at best. Fries were soggy and lukewarm, same with the onion rings. Cheesecake was actually raw and not slightly melted like I initially thought. The whole order must have sat for a good 15 minutes before anyone brought my food out. Seemed like the guy couldn't get rid of me fast enough. Really sucks because I live in town and its usually good but this time it was really bad. For the prices they charge I'm just really sad about it, do not think I will return
