Chili's are all about the same but this one needs to improve on service. The staff just seem so young and not experienced enough in customer service and fine details that makes a dinning experience special. We waited way too long for our food. The stake was nothing special and a few of the shrimps on my wife's plate were burnt ? Overall I guess it's okay.
We haven't been to chili's in years, so I had high expectations for this trip.Overall, Customer service: excellent.Food? It looked good but unfortunately for the taste I'd give 2 out of 5. ?We had the Anchor salmon with rice and broccoli and added black beans. We also ordered chips and salsa. Everything on the food was too salty ?, you can barely taste any distinctive flavor, just salt. I understand things been well seasoned (I am from the Caribbean) but there's obviously a difference between well seasoned and too salty.The thick portion of the salmon (the center) needed a little bit more time on the heat, in my opinion, because it was a bit slimy, so I left that portion on the plate.I ended up ordering a mini lava cake to get the salty flavor off my mouth. The mini cake had good flavor and texture, but it wasn't really a molten lava cake, it was more like a regular chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauce on top, but at least I enjoyed this!It might be that today the food wasn't great. I understand what that is since I am professional cook/baker, and I've worked in a kitchen before; so I am not trying to be a difficult customer, just giving my honest opinion because there's always room for improvement in everything we do.Regardless of our experience today, we'd give the place another chance, specially because Tina was super friendly and efficient.
We’ve tried this restaurant multiple times since we moved to Mt Dora and there’s always an issue with our order, today they forgot the tortillas for the fajitas, the chicken looked like hospital chicken and the chips were stale. I don’t know if it’s the Manager or the cook but this facility could use some improvement. I’m going to stop going because I’ve had negative experiences three times in a row. There’s not a lot of options in Mt Dora but we can’t keep wasting our money like this.
The food and service were spectacular. Our server was on the ball.
Regular sticky seats with food still on them. Same with table after being wiped down, server was super attentive and sweet. Customer, ugh, it’s just because of where I live, but still. The food was meh. I ordered the black bean burger. Too spicy as always. Only vegetarian option as well, which sucks. My second drink from the bar was incorrect because the bartender was too busy flirting Applebees was my husbands first choice, however they completely shut down t.
The food was really good. Our waitress, tamie, was amazing. She constantly checked on us, had a great attitude, and was smiling the whole time. Great job we will be back to see you.
Was there Saturday afternoon with eight people service was great. But ships came out they were very greasy free baskets call ships all were greasy send them back got new ones the waitress was awesome when the food came out ordered two chicken fajitas and the portions were very small considering some other Chili's restaurants I have been at so I am not too happy with this restaurant the kitchen staff really don't care what kind of food they put out
We've been to this location before and loved it. However, this time was horrible. Our waitress basically ignored us the entire night, we had to stop random food runners to help us. But the worst part was finding tin foil in our quesadilla. We sent it back to the kitchen but were pretty shocked when no management personnel came out to apologize for the incident. It was pretty unprofessional and we won't be coming back to this location.
It's been a while since I've been home and visited Chili's. They no longer carry the burger that I normally get so I got the 'ranch' one and it was terrible. My brother-in-law got the same one. It's a double patty but the burgers were burnt. It was like eating asphalt. The service was great though.
The last three times we have been there the food is over cooked and we have had stuff missing or they are out of things like street corn or asparagus or sausage. The last two times we haven't even gotten a apology for food missing on our curbside pickup. Very unhappy with the service and quality of food as of late.
