Drinks were good, the pizzas were AMAZING! Everyone was great, our server, Will, was super nice and helpful! I’m not giving it 5 stars just because they were a bit all over the place, we had to ask twice for napkins and silverware and only got only one paper napkin (not Will, he actually saved the whole thing and got us 2 cloth napkins), overall it was a good experience and we will definitely come back.

wow! Fabulous beet and goat cheese salad! So good I had to go back for a second visit. The pizza was made to perfection. Atmosphere was incredible, dining under the trees, service was attentive. Definitely a go to place, that has it all!
Dined at Back Porch twice and looking forward to returning! Both pizzas, Pepper Mi-Roni, and Hang Over were excellent. Crust is fairly thin with great flavor and puffed around outside edge which is so delicious! Brick oven at it’s best. Appetizer was called Dont-Stand-So-Close, had a garlic embellishment, in my preference could of been a stronger presence of garlic. Had a well presented and flavorful poke bowl (pic) called Salmon-I-Am, was very pleased. Menu is limited but very adequate, and appreciate what they offered and we had a great experience.
Outstanding pizza from a brick oven. Had the Dora-Rita and the crust was perfect, crispy and thin yet not overly burnt. The sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes was excellent and the whole pizza had tons of flavor. Truly fabulous pizza.Also had a watermelon tequila cocktail. It was refreshing, but it was light on the pour.No bathroom inside is a negative and would like to see more flexibility to build you own pizza from the menu given the fantastic ingredients they have available.Not open for lunch either.
Jason provided exceptional service! The ahi tuna style nachos were incredible! A chef walked past our table and saw our 2 year old daughter and ran and got her a complimentary vanilla ice cream. It was so sweet! Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the awesome hospitality provided!
Service was terrible. I am really disappointed. We came today the fourth time and decided to give them the last shot.Food is average, the bowl was good but the pizza sucks. You would think a pizza place can make a good pizza. Wrong. Pizza was soggy. Sorry, but we are not coming back. There is no fifth time.
People talked about this restaurant, because it has more than the usual one vegetarian option. That’s the reason we went by today. We had a vegetarian mushroom pizza and a poke bowl, also vegetarian.Let’s start with the poke bowl it was very tasty, very good and fresh and it looked great.On the other hand the pizza we ordered, we said please put it in a little bit longer in the oven so it is crispy but unfortunately it was everything but crispy. The rim was a little bit tough and the whole middle part of the pizza was totally soggy and limpy. The taste was good, no question. I think when you have pizza the most important part is the dough and it was less than average. Both pizza and poke bowl needed salt. They didn’t have any.They open at 4pm and we came at 5 PM, maybe that is the reason the oven was not hot enough to make the pizza right?If they could offer a good pizza we would come at least twice a week but this experience was not so good. I’ll give them anyway four stars because the taste of the pizza was good and the poke bowl was very good. And I hope they improve.
An excellent addition to the pizza game in Mt Dora. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed ourselves. Our server was lovely and fun. Yummy cocktails! The lose my rind was refreshing and strong. We split a mushroom pizza, and it was the perfect size to share. Crispy, flavorful crust. Savory truffle oil with a light balsamic glaze. Looking forward to our next pie.
