had a great afternoon/dinner time pizza, staff was accommodating the ladies were sweet the kids were offered a game and we sat there and played it the whole time. we intended on taking our pizza to go but we decided to stay in our glad we did. we will be back here for the great friendly faces and food.
Visiting from the Treasure Coast of Florida we definitely come here for lunch, and for dinner. Excellent service !!! Delicious 'home cooking' mama'mia so yummy and the price is right. Everything good about a restaurant is personified here. We leave "Historic Mount Dora" with it's overpriced restaurants, and shops on the strop to go here and eat. My husband has been coming here since he was a child. He is now 48! Food is consistently amazing. His Grandparents came here from Southern Italy and he’s picky! The sauce and meatballs are truly the best around! I’ve tried to recreate but nothing compares. Great pizza, pasta, sauce. Garlic knots ❤️?? Molto Bene!!
I had no clue there was new staff, which is why I understand why the place is empty. The other thinner young kid was making the Pizzas they were a lot better and the tickets weren’t misplaced. I called ahead to order for pickup I show up 40 minutes later and No Pizza because the lady who took the order misplaced the ticket, the guy making it he Pizza says I guess we misplaced the ticket or whatever but I can have it ready in 10 minutes, I’m hungry I have kids to feed so I wait. Towards the end the same lady who misplaced the ticket told one of the new kids you should take his money. Now that she won’t misplaced she make sure my money was taken not even an I am sorry we will discount you or something for my mistake. They lost a good customer.
We have had takeout for years here and never a problem. Decided to try to eat in. What a disaster. No ice tea, beer in bottle only. The pasta we ordered was not available until the next day even though it was already cooked. The Greek salad was awful. No feta cheese no peppers and very little dressing. Then we had to ask for silverware in order to eat. Finally we were served our pasta that was luke warm. Forgot to mention the diet coke was flat and had an odor to it. All in all very disappointing. We tried but will not return.

I Was reminded tonight that I've been eating at Mt. Dora Pizza and Subs for 43 years. It is one of the best Italian Restaurants in Lake County. The food is awesome and it is reasonably priced. iIt's worth a try to see for yourself. You'll become a loyal patron too. Mmmmmm Yummy!
