The food was great, nice fresh and hot!
Not happy at all. We wasted $16 and drive 15 minutes for nothing, it’s not a lot of food for one. Look at the beans nothing but the juice was in the container. The food wasn’t hot at all. It was five pieces were five chickens beans and the fried plantains to were soft.
Had the griot and legume. Everything was well seasoned and tasted great. Highly recommend.
I came to Florida for two months and ate at many good restaurants. Mostly had good seafood. I went to takeout two dishes at Taty Griot, OxTail, (Very Good) and the Fried Whole Seabass. My wife said it was the best tasting fish she had the entire time we were in FLA.
I wanted to try this place after seeing a review by The Hungry Black Man. I ordered the fried snapper, it came with dried plantains and rice and beans. It was DELICIOUS, fresh and very well seasoned. The staff was polite.
This is the worst food i've ever had. I ordered soup from this restaurant and tasted horrible .and order was incorrect. if i could give them zero star i would..when i called them to report that they hung up on me.
Waiting area is very cluttered and scary looking. The place looks more like a haunted thrift store with horrible scents. Food is pricey for the amount. Griot is excellent but cuts and portion are very small. Do not orher fried plantains. They really suck; hard and chewy. Order of white rice was half gratin and their sauce pois is served in a tiny little container usually used for sauce or pikliz. To top it all, their customer service skills is zero like most haitian restaurants.
The Gurl Sarah fix my legumes when I turn back around to tell her why ain’t no meats in the legumes she roll her eyes and just throw the meat in bad service first and last time coming here
