Twice I have made the mistake of going to this location to place and order and the delay and agent RUDENESS taking the order is unacceptable. First time the agent took almost 10 minutes to take my order and when I said hello to see if she was there she yelled and said “I told you that you need to wait” in a nasty tone. The 2nd time today April 28, 6pm.. the same rude person told me they were out of stake (churrasco) so I ask if they had whole chicken and she told me I had to wait 20 min and I said oh that’s a long wait she told me to go to another place… So I did… Never again.
Very terrible customer service and not to mention this location loves to sell undercooked chicken you could literally see the blood fresh coming from the chicken Even though I stress many times that I want the chicken to be well done they never fail to give me undercooked chicken on top of that Their yellow rice is soggy and has a stale taste to it…never again will I ever make the mistake of coming to this location On my lunch break go to the location preferably located on Pines Boulevard or Pembroke Pines , University Drive . I’d rather make that extra drive than to ever risk food poisoning from this careless location specially staff members a lot of improvement needs to be made here and even if there were any improvement I still wouldn’t waste my time going If I could give zero stars I would I don’t understand the logic in selling undercooked chicken whatsoever
This is in my opinion the worst Pollo Tropical there is!!! They can never give you dark meat for a family meal and they never have lemon juice. How can you serve Caribbean food without lemon/ lime juice? I just spent 20 minutes in the drive thru to be told they only have 1/4 chicken white meat only but if I want a hole chicken I can get white and dark meat. That’s crazy!!!!
I have been here a couple times and my most recent visit was the worst. After ordering a large family meal combo option, I had to go back to the counter as they gave me my food without any chicken. Fine. As I actually eat my food, I see that their beans are extremely watered down. No exaggeration -- the black beans I ordered had around 75% water, 25% beans. As if all this isn't poor enough, I find individual hairs on my food plate. I am completely disgusted at the quality of food here. If anyone reads this, I encourage you to eat elsewhere.
Had the best experience at this restaurant today.I had decided to visit pollo tropical on my lunch break and after I ordered my meal I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. When I arrived at the window I was hoping they had apple pay available , unfortunately they didn't . To my surprise the cashier at the window gave me the meal on the house. Her attitude from beginning to end was outstanding
Yesterday I went to the drive through to place my order it was lunch the girls were really nice they helped me with my order they took my order carefully it was fast and professional
Went thru drive thru, not to bad wait. Cashier/order taker was nice. Food size has gotten smaller and prices up. The prices on outside board are NOT actual price..wow! They have yet to update those they said. Other than that food as usual taste great ?
The staff is super rude. I placed my order online for curbside pick up. But they do not have any slot in the parking lot. At the drive thrue I was asked to enter the store. There they made me wait 40 minutes. They gave me an order that was not mine. Then they gave me the incomplete order. I let them know and the lady threw the food in the bag and left.
Everything was great at this location. It's right off I-75, offers gluten free options and the price is right. The chicken was well seasoned, yellow rice was done right and i enjoyed the additional toppings on my tropichop.
I hadn't ate here in years. Well. I guess it will be seberal years more before I go back. Absolutely the worst chicken I have ever ate. Over cooked and dry to the bone. Never again!!!
