We were getting pedicures a few doors down and were curious after reading the really good reviews on Google!Well lo and behold the reviews were right!The people's choice wings were seasoned and juicy, sweet and spicy goodness! The veggie patty was yum yum! The crust was flaky and flavourful!The conch soup was a great thick "stick to your ribs" kinda of soup, it was more like a stew!Thank you to Ashley for greeting us with her warm, welcoming spirit! She is truly an asset to this establishment!Much success to everyone at The People's Choice!We also ordered the oxtail to go because everyone was saying how delicious they were.
Excellent food. The rice and peas were delicious. I had the brown stew chicken it was so good. Just the right amount of heat to it. My husband had the Curry goat. Everything was Irie.
Food was great. First time eating from here and it will definitely not be my last time. I had their wings with the special sauce and the brown stew fish. You will not be disappointed! Trust me.
Great portion sizes, great lunch specials, and sooo tasty. I have been to many Jamaican restaurants in the area, from Dutch Pot, Donna's, and Tropical Oasis, to Finger Lickin, Golden Krust, and Jamaica itself a few times, and this is me and my friends new favorite for take-out. Great curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and jerk chicken. I was asked if I would like some sauce on my rice with jerk chicken. Uh, hell yeah to that extraordinary oxtail sauce! And when the double-doors open, the kitchen looks sooo clean inside, which is a big plus for me as quite a few Jamaican/Haitian/Latin restaurants I have been to don't look the most hygenic/sanitary. I have to give you props for that. I had to try because it had an astronomical 4.8 rating at the time of this review (later found out it was because there were so few ratings), but it ended up living it up to the expectations. Only 2 or 3 small tables by the window/waiting/ordering area, so more of a take-out type of place.
The wings and the jerk chicken wicked! A jerk chicken Alfredo pasta would be wicked on the menu Call It a Rasta Pasta Peoples choice big up??
I walked by and found this gem. I am not Jamaican, so I did not know much about the food. The staff was super friendly, helping me pick something out. OMG, it was sooooo delicious and the price was unbelievable. GREAT quality food at a very fair price.
Seriously amazing food!!! We stumbled on it and did not regret that decision!! Will definitely be going back.
I like their Jerk chicken. (Nb)Call before you go there and place your order or ask if what you need is available. I not making that mistake again. The food is good. Vegetable fresh. Service Ok. Tipical
