Place was empty, and the tequenos were not 100% authentic. Im sure that some other plates might be better, but there are better options for really great venezuelan food in the area

Really good arepas. The portions are very generous. This was a side order of fries and it turned out to be a giant plate of fries.
Great tasting arepas, I had the meat and chicken and wow it was delicious. Prices are affordable, you can get an arepa, fries and a drink for $10 that is way better than fast food. This is real food, super delicious.
Food was cold when served(tequno, arepa) basic flavors nothing special. Too much sauce and too salt in some food items(Pepito)
best venezuelan food i’ve had. all the workers are super nice as well. i recommend this restaurant to everyone i know because of how good the food is. i recommend getting the americana burger or the patacón
Perhaps because I came at 3pm on a Sunday...but friends I feel deceived by the reviews. Having moved away from South Fla and down for vacation I could not wait for a great venezuelan fix. Based on the ratings I found myself here. The food tastes like something you would buy at Publix and warm up. However at least at home you would be sure to heat it up. Here they just serve it cold. Yes the queso de Mano in the cachapa was cold upon service. The arepas were probably made a few weeks ago and they did not bother to heat it up. Tasted like eating an Amazon box with cheese. The tequenos fresh out of a warmer were at least some what lukewarm but very ordinary. I asked for butter on the arepas and they served me melted butter in a cup. And yes, I speak Spanish so it was not a language barrier issue. Coffee...notice no one mentions it...that is because there is nothing about it that is special. All of you who think this place is so great take time to visit Doggies Arepa Bar in Hallandale. Can't wait to see what you all that rated this place a five rates that one. I assure you there the food comes out hot and freshly made.
This place is amazing i was told by the owner to try it out sence i work at a other business that the wife has food is super fresh and places clean I highly recommend especially not for Christmas they have and decorated. The lady that took our order help me out a lot on my decision since it was my first time. Most try.
