The food was typical pub/bar food. The Fried Crab Claws were awful. The "claws" are the small "thumb" (chelipeds) part of the crab that has barely any meat on the claw. You pay $27 for practically nothing. The Fried shrimp was fine. Everything is overpriced. On top of the average food, Sandestin's new policy, adding 20% "service charge" (gratuity) is a bit ridiculous.
As with any restaurant in Destin the wait is an hour or more even with many open tables. I’m sure it’s just lack of staffing and we understand that. The food was ok, had the blackened fish tacos. Mine came without the toppings which I had to question and have added. I didn’t love the flavor of the slaw on them but they were ok. Service was pretty good, they add a 20% surcharge automatically. We wouldn’t go back, we didn’t love it.
This place is pretty good. They have a unique French fries shape that I've never seen before. The place has primary seafood and also has some steaks. There's also cocktails and other drinks. In the picture below is some oysters and a 12oz ribeye, Then a picture of the front of menu and building. Good place to eat at.
Absolutely loved this place. The calamari was amazing. The fries were also perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The star of the night was definitely my drink, Slick Lips Blue! So wonderful and sweet, probably the best drink I got to have on my vaca!!!
Food was delicious. Cool place to take the kids. Would give 5 stars if it was more affordable place to bring kids. Family of 4 cost us $250 (they do charge 25% gradituty)...we did however drink a couple of specialty drinks and have an appetizer.
This was a great place to eat at after you’ve been walking around for hours. The overall quality of the food is great and really really tasty. I got chicken tenders, fries, and some mashed potatoes when I went there, and it was some of the best that I’ve had in the state. The waiters and waitresses there are also extremely nice, polite, and do a great job. The interior of the restaurant is also very nice and comfortable. Overall I highly recommend to go here if you’re in the area.
Best place to eat if you are staying at the resort! We ate here every day during our trip. Everything was good! We tried the Blackened Tuna, the fish sandwich (a few times), gumbo, Cajun pasta, oysters, and hush puppies. The staff was also very friendly, the hostess seemed to expect us there every night.
This was easily the most neglectful service I've received at a restaurant in years. (No refills, she kept disappearing outside and was unavailable for service or questions, and we had to wait an extra 20-30 min for our check and to-go boxes) So I planned to express that with a lower tip and a written note on the receipt for constructive feedback, but that option was taken from me in the form of a $21 "service fee" for a party of two! What a ridiculous concept - no wonder she doesn't care how abysmal her service is if she's rewarded regardless! This made us have an awful experience even though the bacon-wrapped amberjack was superb!
I would give it a zero if I could. I went yesterday to this restaurant and ordered the crusted Parmesan Chicken. It says it’s a boneless chicken breast but I took a couple of bites and bit into a bone. The manager comes over and offers me $8 off my meal that was $28. He tells me it’s not a big deal and then asks me if I realize that chicken is an animal. Yes I do realize but if I had known it had a bone in it I would eat around it not into it. He was nice enough to take the bone and throw it away for me. Rude beyond belief. I have never seen a manager anywhere act this way.
Didnt see oysters on their menu!! GOTTA HAVE MORE FISH THEN just the ONE OF THE DAY... CHICKEN SANDWICH THIN & FRIED SOOOO HARD Opted for Simple and it still was NASTY but I was HUNGRY , Shrimp Tacos were tiny salad shrimp with a huge amount of pinkish colored COLESLAW.. MY Daughter enjoyed the SEAFOOD Pasta.
