The ribs in this place the very good the meat fall out off the bone potato salad as also very good I didn't care much for the Cole slaw but the is just me one thing to keep in mind the only accept cash
The brisket sandwich is nearly all fat, and I do mean nearly all. When I was asked which sauce I wanted, I asked the owner which sauce he recommended. "I don't!" was his reply. Geez, what wonderful customer sevice! ? The banana pudding was so overwhelmingly sweet I couldn't eat it. I won't be returning.
Food was awesome for what looks like a little wooden shak. The man running it gave a history on how the place started and even helped pick the bbq sauce that would suit my taste ( had to purchase a bottle of that sauce before I left it was so good) not sure why anyone would give thus place a bad review.
Meat was meh, served out of a small crock pot. Very little flavor, the guy running it was rude, like we were bothering him from watching his TV show. Steer clear. There are many much better bbq locations in destin. What a shame.
Best BBQ around, the bad reviews are from libs who don't like conservatives. Surprised they didn't call the guy a racist. Anyway best you will ever have. Owner is a hoot.
Basics done well can't be beat, and Lillie's does the basics very well. Excellent barbecued ribs, the beans are amazing and the cole slaw is the most unique tasting cole slaw I've ever had (nutmeg?), and delicious! Highly recommended. Corn salad was just ok (but fresh, so that's good), so I'd recommend a second bean or slaw instead. And I appreciated the salty character running the place, says what's on his mind and good sense of humor.
Three stars is the most I can give this those are the quality of the food which I'd say was about a four star but the pathetic servings sizes. I ordered the brisket plate with two small sides and it was a single slice of brisket. it was a thick slice thicker than any slice I've ever really seen probably about an inch.. but still it was not very much considering with a can of diet coke this plate cost $19.25. sorry but just way too much money for a small amount of food.

Excellent BBQ pulled pork sandwich! The potato salad is really good and has a good tart pickle and black pepper flavor. The baked beans were tangy and sweet. The outdoor porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your meal.
