Once again Kenny D’d was the BEST food we had while at Destin! From their shrimp to their crab claws and burgers, you seriously can’t beat it! Wonderful, friendly staff and family atmosphere! Definitely will go back when in Destin again!!

The food at Kenny D's, particularly the crab legs, was excellent! The environment is really fun and beachy and the prices were reasonable as well. I only took off a star because the service was not the greatest. I'm sure that they are understaffed like the rest of the country, but multiple staff members were quite crabby on our 3 visits to Kenny D's during the week of our vacation. The crab legs and shrimp were so good that we returned anyways despite the grouchy service.
The food was great, no complaints. The only problem was we ordered a drink that was supposed to be 32oz for 17.99. The smaller drink is what our waitress first brought out. We explained what we ordered and she said oh, and brought out the second cup with this volume in the picture. My wife was trying to explain that it wasn’t 32oz. The waitress then tried to pour the smaller cup into the bigger cup to show us. We were trying to explain that the bigger cup wasn’t 32oz. We finally give up. She charged us for 32oz. I took the big cup home and barely got 24oz into it. This waitress is tall, blonde, and sounds like she’s from north Eastern Europe. Please teach her oz’s! Thanks
Stayed at a condo walking distance to Kenny D's and really enjoyed the service and quality of drinks and food. They also allowed us to bring our small dog to sit with us on the outside, a real plus. The staff was always pleasent and made you feel relaxed. Highly recommend it.
Three nights in a row and going again tonight. Walking distance from our Maravilla Condo…but I’d drive to eat here. Small pub on the beach, really good food and really good staff. Each night a great rep took such good care of us. If all restaurants had a staff comprised of GRANT, OLIVIA and OLYSEA, ? What a wonderful world…?. Good live music with an older man playing a nice guitar and singing 60-80s standards..a really heartfelt, haunting Buffalo Springfield. Key lime pie, Mahi Mahi bites, grilled Grouper, deep fried fish tacos, and my favorite, maybe my favorite fish dinner of all time, Grouper St. Charles (fried as Kenny recommended) was just ridiculous. I’m not kidding. Anything smothered in Crawfish Etoufee is a winner. Nice atmosphere, Wednesday Karaoke is quite the party and I MEAN it! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Bubba Gunps, Fudruckers, Pompano Joes, Crab Trap, not bad places but inordinately over priced and just not as good as Kenny D’s.
1st of all the menu didn't accurately describe what was included in the meals. For example the shrimp and grits was Creole style and in red sauce. Not stated on the menu. The snow crab was a boil and not plate. The potatoes and corn in the boil were extremely spicy and much too spicy for me to enjoy. The snow crabs were far too over cooked. Won't be back or recommend.
Food was awesome. Service was excellent. We had calamari appetizer and all loved the dipping sauce. Then hamburgers and Mahi-mahi all was a great experience. We will be back.
A nice cozy place with a live musician. Food was fine for a busy tourist place, definitely walkable to the beach and in the midst of all those vacation homes.
