We walked over from our condo once we found out about this place. They had live music and people dancing having a good time. My husband and I ordered a burger with cheese added bacon and over medium egg, and salad instead of fries. The salad was awesome. Not your typical side salad. This thing could have been a meal itself with lots of toppings. The burger was fresh and excellent. We will be returning. Ate here twice on our week vacation. Didn’t disappoint! Pizza is amazing!
We stayed in ariel dunes 2 so we were going to order a pizza and nachos poolside. I tried calling from pool area 3 times and continued to get hung up on. I went inside to the front counter, where you would pay and nobody was there so I continued to stand at the counter and wait for someone. 3 worked from behind the glass(kitchen area) seen me, nobody attempted to help, 1 waiter worked by twice and said nothing, and then comes the best part. The hostest walks right around me behind the counter and took a customer ahead of me and checked them out and literally right after he paid just walked back from behind the counter to leave again without even acknowledging me so I stopped her and said "excuse me, I'm trying to get help, where can I place an order to go?" She said "I guess go to the bar" and walked off. The bar was so packed i couldn't even get around someone to order. Rude and unwilling to serve or help. I then sent my husband inside to deal with it, we finally ordered, the pizza came and it was completely wrong and had to be sent back. Will not order here again!
We ate at Cabana Cafe on a whim while staying in Destin for the week. We were so happy with the very kind, smiley service from Shevelle. She took great care of us.The ambiance was fun and full of happy vibes. There were many families around us and a menu to fit all taste buds. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The Alfredo was so incredibly creamy and delectable and the chicken had great flavor. My husband ordered the fried fish. He said the batter tasted light and the fish almost tasted like chicken with a very mild fish flavor. It did not taste heavy or oily. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend this restaurant for all ages and palates.
Cabana Cafe catered our wedding this past week for 130 people in an offsite location. We are still getting compliments about the food, which was terrific! The staff went above and beyond, and honestly once they were hired, stress reduced greatly. Thank you Wayne for being awesome!
Our server was very nice, but very inexperienced. There were 5 of us for dinner and our meals came out first 2 then waited 10 minutes for 2 more than the last one another 10 minutes. The last one was uneatable and we asked to have it taken off the bill, whick they did. Someone needs to better manage the kitchen, because this is totally unacceptable! Basically it's a bar and if I go again it will only be for drinks.
Great food, drinks and live music
Good food in a casual location. If you like sports, there are many TVs in the area and staff will help you change to event you want to watch. Ate there for lunch on Saturday afternoon and again during Superbowl on Sunday. I had the French Dip and my wife got a salad on Saturday. I got the Cuban and my wife got a Build Your Burger on Sunday. Althea food was delicious to eat. Service was great on Saturday, but the friendly staff was hoping and taxed with the larger crowd during superior. They were also cranking out pizzas to go. Definitely understaffed in kitchen for that event in off season for resort.
Decent food, but they told us the manager wanted her to turn people away, 3 hours before close, because they had been really busy. Service was mediocre.
We suggest all of our guest at ADII #208 try this place. Steps from our door and great atmosphere!
