We were pleasantly surprised when we found this bread,pastry and coffee shop on the side of the Hyatt in Sandestin, Florida.the servers were fast friendly, and attentive.the location was very popular with many people there. We grabbed a couple of coffees,a muffin, a cinnamon room, and some bagels.good food and good coffee.nice place, will visit for sure again before the week is out.
It may look crowded, and there isn't a lot of seating, but Black Bear moves folks through ordering at a good pace without pressure. If you do take a seat, you will find a cozy if not intimate environment that has acoustics well tuned for conversation. The coffee is nutty and tastes freshly bitter with a pleasing aroma and smooth sip. Not for those who love sugary drinks.Your food will be beautifully presented. Pleasing to look upon and instagram ready out of the kitchen, their ingredients should please you and their small but diverse menu is sure to please many desires.You won't get price value but you can easily share their servings and it is worth the premium for the quality and experience.
Best sandwich in a looooonnnnngggg time! A deliciously executed Crocque Madame (I close my eyes and I can still taste it.) And it's terribly convenient when you find yourself strolling Grand Boulevard. The helpful and pleasant staff were the bonus!

Cute spot that we grabbed coffee and pastries from!The bear latte was really good with a strong cinnamon flavor! They use Stumptown beans which is great if you are getting decaf. Stumptown uses the Swiss water method for the decaf process.We also got a fruit danish and blueberry scone. I should have got a loaf of sourdough to take back on the road.The bathroom was gender neutral and very clean. Really cute vibe in the store. Would visit again when we come back to Sandestin area!
Best coffee on the strip. Scrumptious dessert for breakfast, what could be better? Coffee drinks are good. This crowded little place is very popular, with everything ultra-expensive but good.
Delicious coffee and great baked goods. I haven't eaten a meal here yet but I'm sure it's delicious as well. I've had lattes twice here with oat milk and both were great.
We stopped in for a quick bite on our way out of town, and loved what we got. However, after seeing all the other items come out of the kitchen while we waited, we definitely decided we needed to come back! Nothing but a positive experience, and look forward to trying other items next time.
We love Black Bear and live very close so of course we visit often but this last experience at the Grand Blvd location was very disappointing. I had order to much to carry all to the car by myself so I told the lady I was going to leave the # they handed to me at the register on the counter and carry the pastry bags and first set of hot coffee drinks too the car and come back for the last two iced drinks. She said that would be fine. (They we’re almost done) No big deal right? Well I walked back in to grab the drinks and another co worker or manager not sure. She’s been there a long time. She literally looks at me with an annoyed smirk and asks if I can wait outside… like they forgot in the 30 seconds I was gone and didn’t even give me time to barely respond. I told her I was waiting on the drinks (that were sitting ready) and told her they had already given me the other part of my order and she asked me to wait outside??? I just needed to grab them. She said they ask everyone to wait outside and they will bring it. Yes, they do that’s not new. But I already had asked them to hold them for a second so I could carry everything to the car. Ridiculous! There was no one in the area either so it’s not like it was crowded or I was in anyones way for the quick second. Maybe next time Know what is going on and don’t be so quick to make a customer fill like your kicking them out.. I barely said a word maybe I should have just spoken up. Disappointing for sure.
Obsessed with the avocado tartine! I know other things are good here but I cannot NOT order it. Great coffee, good Kombucha. Not much indoor seating but it’s usually nice outside anyway. Walkable from SanDestin and Baytowne areas.
