Came here for breakfast after getting off a transatlantic place ride. Waitress was friendly, service was quick and the food was delicious. Bathroom very clean, as well! Would definitely come back.
Full on bakery with a lot of baking happening right there, the inviting smell hits you as you step in as does the industrial set up with flour bags, bakers and machines taking up most of the space. It's like the restaurant was added as an afterthought to a flour mill. Was a tad bit too crowded when we came in and had to order takeaway while we waited for the food. We even saw a beggar walk in with his hat. Like other downtowns the area is sketchy but the immediate vicinity of the bakery is fine
First thing you're going to notice when you walk in is the smell, the incredible smell of fresh baked everything. It not just the smell of something they recently toasted before serving because they are literally scratch making every bakery item they offer.The second thing you'll notice is the staff at the entry. You will usually be greeted upon entry amd directed to order at the counter to go or be placed at an interior table to be served. Everyone working is very pleasant and, good spirited and most importantly competent in their role.The third thing yould notice comes after you order and take your first bite of whatever you ordered to eat. Its your rollercoaster of emotions from delightful bliss from the food being so delicious slowly turning to sadness knowing theres no way you can finish what you ordered then place another order for "1 of everything on the menu". If you're like me and can't get everything all at once you're going to become a regularKnown for their breads. Easily best bagels in miami too.
We were looking for somewhere quick to eat after the kids were moaning about being hungry - saw the line of people and we thought it had to be good! The line moved fast however it was pretty tricky to get a seat inside. One of us grabbed a table outside whilst the other queued. We kept it simple and had bagels with cream cheese, and also a loaf of ryebread I believe - so good!! We visited a month ago and haven't stopped thinking about the bagels :)
We went for brunch and had coffee bread dessert ...Everything was so good! If you are in Wynwood try this place.
This place is located in the beautiful and wonderfully artistic design district across the street from Wynwood Walls and their bread is a work of art so it fits right in. I ordered the salmon Ruben with a side of salmon bacon on the side. It was delicious. The salmon bacon is cut thin, slightly fatter in the middle and seared till it's charred around the thin park, then partially caramelized, then in the middle the fish oil is thick. It is amazing and I will order as a side with anything else they serve. Treat yourself and do the same.
This place has simple staples that are what I would call elevated. They have a great egg sandwich with yummy salmon bacon which was the best breakfast of the week for me. Their iced lattes are the best in the city and their chocolate chip cookies are great too. The portions of all their items are pretty big and reasonably priced. I was lucky to get a table easily both times I came and the man serving me was both attentive and friendly.
Best Bread Shop in Miami. This place is a Wynwood staple for me. The sourdough and Hallah are absolutely amazing. Breakfast sandwich is delicious. Have not tried the bagels here yet. Coming from NYC I am always looking for good breads. Friends told me about this and I will be back. Delicious!!!
Great brunch spot in Wynwood. It's very popular so there was a 20-30 min wait to get a table, or you could stand in the line (15-20min) to order takeout. Also took a long while to get the food too. But it was very fresh and tasty. We loved the Salmon-bacon (not real bacon) burger. The Lemonade drink was not as good. Apple crisp was Amazing. Overall good experience, would recommend ordering ahead.
STOP READING AND JUST GO!!!! It’s the greatest kosher bakery in Florida. If you want a brunch type place, this is the place. I come here constantly. They are always packed but the service is great and I never have issues or loose my patience.
