My step-daughter recommended we come here, based on reviews and the fact it was halfway between our separate accommodations. Superb suggestion on her behalf! We arrived for lunch around midday on a Tuesday and the line was already out the door (though did move relatively quickly). It appeared most people were ordering takeout, and once we got up to the counter and ordered it was easy to find spare tables and chairs to sit and eat. Staff were lovely and our food was served quickly. It was fresh and delicious — and much lighter than Mexican fair I’ve had in the past. I really liked that! The perfect sized burritos, great prices, and we all enjoyed our meal. Really interesting area with lots of street art (though it can be tricky to find parking…) and the inside of the restaurant itself is super funky!
Tacos were fresh and tasty. Burritos also hit the spot. The location is great for when you need a food break after walking around Wynwood. I liked how the interior itself is an art exhibit which fits in well with the Wynwood vibe.
• Amazing tacos!!• Fast service as well!!• Reasonable prices!!• Great condiment bar!!The tacos are far superior to the burritos but that isn't to say the burritos are bad.The Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos are probably the two best.
Great quality tacos for a cheap price. The homemade tortillas were soft and tasty, the salsas available each elevated the tacos in different ways, and the meats were all well marinated and well cooked. Would recommend to anyone eating in the area (especially if you’re on a tight budget).
I was hesitant, but that taco de nopales was the best! Carne asada fries and churros we're really tasty too. Recommend for California transplants looking for some good Mexican.
Favorites were California burrito, nopales taco, carne asada fries, and churros
Great taco & burrito! Definitely stop in for lunch!
Fresh, tasty tacos in soft shells. I tried the vegetarian tacos and I needed some medium spice salsa for my palate. Friends that liked spicy food seemed to enjoy the shrimp taco. The loaded tortilla chips were delicious. The place was crowded on a weekday evening. There were napkins and a sanitizer dispenser that you could use to clean your table too.
It had a line out the door that surprisingly moved really quick. I order a burrito and loaded fries, honestly I would say the taste was nothing wild to me but was good. Portion sizes are good I would definitely return if I'm out there.
Great authentic Mexican food. Steak was well seasoned and tender. Sanora tacos were awesome. Carne asada fries were crispy and cheesy. Wife had the Baja taco and churros. I’m not a sweets guy, but she said the churros were great. The corn on the cob was grilled corn served with mayonnaise, parm cheese, and chilly powder AKA MEXICAN CORN, but the lime juice gave it a weird taste….. Don’t worry, I ate the corn. Would recommend.
