Amazing delicious food, vegetables were fresh and full of flavor, huge portion of food.. The store manager was very nice and cared for the customers. Going to visit again !!best Thai place in town!

Great portions, good price, fast service, and an owner who definitely cares about customer experience. This will definitely be a regular lunch for me. What really stood out to me is the fresh, flavorful veggies. I was expecting they'd be soggy and flavorless given the fast food style.

Comparing to Thai Express in Toronto - identical experience and taste.Nice polite employees, tasty food and good ambiance.

When you see the red flags you trust your instincts. My wife and I were deciding where to eat and most of the restaurants were packed, we didn’t want to wait. We noticed the Thai Express was empty Red flag # 1. We ordered and the food was blah not worth the costs compared to other great spots to eat in the area. The staff looked thrilled to see us, sarcasm if you can tell, Red Flag # 2. If you’re looking for prison food this is the place for you. My wife is currently in bed feeling sick ? We’re more disappointed in ourselves for ignoring our gut instincts, now our guts are punishing us. Not the way we wanted to start our Saturday.

Amazing experience. Awesome food. Very well behaved. Food portions were too good. One plate is more than enough for 2 people. The owner Robin Told me the recipe of “chili oil” I’m so much happy ?.

5 stars to each team member here.I had a group of 13 with a long order. They were so helpful, I didn’t miss any orders, and the staff was super nice. It’s clean, they are quick, and I would definitely come back.Parking is a little crazy but it’s worth it.Also their packaging for to go orders are so cute. And it says exactly was inside so no one puts their fingers in your food. LolCan’t recommend it more. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

$10 for a cup of rice with the smallest portion of protein I’ve ever seen. I feel disrespected

This is how much I got for 12 dollars incl. Tax and not including the tip. So glad I didn't tip them or I would have felt even worse! This place is hot garbage (excuse my french) tiniest of portions of subpar at best food. Do t go there if you're actually expecting good food, never mind food rhay resembles Thai food. So pathetically bad. I'm so bummed that I wasted 12 dollars on a pint of dry orange chicken. And on top of all that, they literally put the food on TOP of the rice, so whatever little moisure or sauce the food might have had. Got instantly soaked up but the rice. I might have been ok with 7 dollars? Or if they would have warned me that the daily special actually means that you get half the amount of the normal amount is my guess? And if that's not actually the case and that's their normal portions for those ridiculously expensive prices, then how in the heck are they even still in business? It's not even fancy, so wth am I paying for? I paid over 12 dollars for a pint of dry wanna be orange chicken over a measly amount of rice. Pathetic. I'm definitely never found back there. And I would heavily recommend you or anyone else following suit (unless you don't mind being ripped off and tasting sub par food to boot)

Despite what's going on lately with restaurants struggling Hoy-ka is providing free meals for the community and it looks like they'll be doing it for the foreseeable future. Giving back even when they're in crisis is amazing. I'll be ordering from them when I'm in the mood for Thai food.

I was looking for no frills and good portion size which I think this place matches that description but there was a bit of an issue ordering directly from their website versus a third party like Uber eats. It said delivered before being picked up and then it got passed to an Uber eats driver who’s app glitched and didn’t have my address. When it came the plastic container had cracked all around and was dropping food out through the bottom of the bag and after transferring it to a bowl there were quite a few plastic bits in the food. The Pad Thai was a bit mushy and pasty and not spicy as ordered. I like that they include ground peanuts and lime but the lime wedge included was completely dry no juice. The Tom Yum soup was good and spicy though. I think I would try it again in person and also hope they change the containers they use for delivery.
