Arguably one of the best spots in Miami. The view of the city is one of a kind. The atmosphere is great, but I recommend getting an outside seat. I went late at night and had a great time looking over the city, listening to music, having a view drinks, and enjoying time with friends. The drinks and food were unique and delicious. Highly recommend you double check your tab though. My waitress definitely put extra drinks thinking we wouldn't notice. We absolutely did and pointed it out. She knew she did it because she didn't even argue. I really didn't like that, but I didn't let that ruin my experience.
Great cocktail lounge on the top floor of East Hotel in Brickell (across from Sugar). Chill vibes; great views.
I can’t describe them other words than our experience was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. We were impressed.We had the Thai Lobster Salad, the Bombay Lamb, and the Korean Short Ribs paired with the Sweet Talker and 1824 cocktails.We all got our drinks quickly and enjoyed the food.Highly recommend!
Ladies night went wrong. Don't get fool by the host, she will tell you the $75 cover charge will be applied to your drinks’ bill, next thing you know the bartender and the manager treat you like criminals when they bring you the $200 bill and you claim what the lady at the door told you to lure you into the scam. The manager then calls the police and you are forced to pay and leave the place like you are the criminal.
Came here on a Saturday late afternoon while I was looking for a spot to grab a quick glass of wine with a friend near my hotel. We knew (from Google !) that it would be a little on the pricey end, but it was one of the only not-dive bars or chain restaurants open at 4pm (which I thought was weird). From the street, we thought they might be closed because the place was completely empty except for one lonely hostess/greeter! She told us that all of the seating was downstairs so we proceeded down. Even at 4pm, there were several large parties like bachelorettes, bridal showers, birthday parties, and most tables that were not full had reservation cards on them. The server told us that we could sit anywhere but to keep in mind the reservation times on the cards- most were for later, like 8pm, so we were fine, but definitely make reservations if you want to come at night!
The Tea Room was a huge disappointment this time. I reserved a table and had a 240 dollar dinner (for 2) which was great. But then a whole bunch of rowdy young men were let in and the atmosphere went south. All of a sudden jeans and t shirts are ok?! ...This place used to be very selective but now anybody gets in.
Nice view. There was a big lounge space with floor-to-ceiling windows all around. The drinks were good too.But service was not good, drinks were massively overpriced, and vibe was very pretentious.There are better places to get the same result.

But then a whole bunch of more or less rowdy younger men were let in, most of which had an attire of T shirts and jeans! When I made the reservation they told me when it goes Club one can stay after dinner if nicely dressed. WTF? My grade : D- in spite of the awesome views. The Tea Room used to be very restrictive in who gets in and had a upscale crowd.
SERIOUSLY, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PASS ANGER DON'T GO TO IT. The worst place in Miami, I live in Miami and I've been to Sugar and Tea Room a few times, and every time my experience has been terrible, I always "give a chance" to the place to take my friends, but I always pass by shame, because the service is terrible and this last time it's for me never to put my feet in this garbage place again. First, the receptionists who make the reservation at the entrance are unprepared, they don't respect anyone and still don't accept mistakes. I, who live nearby, would always go in person after 4pm to make the reservation for my friends to celebrate their birthday, but there was always a problem, because if you go with 10 people, eg, they don't accept payment with more than 3 credit cards , then you have to pay someone's bill. And this week was my birthday and I personally went to make the reservation with a blonde with long straight hair, I arrived around 5pm, I explained to her and a guy who was with me that I had a bad experience and would not want to go through any problems. , but I arrived at the agreed time on Nov 12, 2021, I found out that the girl on the reservation didn't do where I asked her to be at the TEA ROOM, but at SUGAR (I hate this place) why would I make a reservation there? She claimed that I said Sugar and not tea room and she didn't have the courage to apologize and still wanted to charge me more than what it is, because at the Tea Room you paid 80 dol and drank and ate for 2 hours, at Sugar it was consumption min out of 100... it was terrible, I don't recommend it to anyone, if you don't want to get angry, DON'T GO SUGAR / EAST / TEA ROOM Besides that the bearded manager was rude, rude saying that we were supposed to look elsewhere, imagine me with 10 guests looking for a restaurant at 10pm on a Friday? GARBAGE, DISRESPECT, WHAT DOES IT USE TO BE A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IF THE SERVICE IS BAD. SERIOUSLY, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PASS ANGER DON'T GO TO IT.
I was looking for a rooftop bar and this place didn't disappoint!!! The view is breathtaking!!! Definitely worth a visit. They have an outdoor and indoor area. They could improve their options on non-alcoholic cocktails, but other than that this is a great place!
