I have been going to this place since they were first in a food truck and let me tell you my honest opinion, other Peruvian restaurants don't come close to the flavors, quality and overall passion of Peruvian cuisine like Tapia offers. Their food is absolutely delicious and authentic, simply the very best in Miami
Taipá serves authentic and delicious Peruvian dishes with a smile. I went with my wife, parents, daughter, son-in-law, and two small grandkids. What s great experience!Michelle, the owner, treated us like family. Her husband, the chef, expertly prepared and beautifully presented every dish. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. My mom, who was born and raised in Peru and is the best cook I know, had nothing but praises. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. If we had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the Causa de Pulpo Anticuchero, but everything was delicious and the portions were generous. We also had the Causa Carretillera (the calamari was tender and crispy), Papa a la Huancaina (the potatoes were al dente and the sauce was smooth and creamy), Lomo Saltado (one of my favorite Peruvian dishes), Saltado de Mariscos (a first for me and it won't be the last), Tallarines Verdes con Anticuchos (delicious), Aji de Gallina (savory and creamy), and Chupe de Mariscos (warm and satisfying). For dessert we shared Picarones (just like the ones I remember eating at club El Bosque in Lima when I was a kid about 50 years ago) and a Cuatro Leches with Lúcuma, a tasty fruit I've only had in Peru (I loved Lúcuma ice cream) which is similar to mamey. My only disappointment was not being able to taste more dishes. I'll be back!

Yesterday I spend $58.65 on the worst Peruvian food this place is really awful, I ordered mix seafood chaufa rice and steak and chicken rice the shrimp was raw the calamari was so rubbery the steak was like rubber awful, we love Peruvian food but please this place is really bad, the only good thing was the Platains.
Amazing place! A MUST if you like Peruvian food and especially ceviche.-The ceviche is TASTY and FLAVORFUL, doesn't taste fishy. It's fluffy and melts with a REAL fresh lime flavor in your mouth. If you try it you won't regret it.-The octopus has a lovely texture and mildly spicy flavor. Not rubbery at all. I would close my eyes every bite because of how good it was.- The jalea was crispy and just perfect. Very good portions and mix of seafood.- The shrimp Chupe had very good taste and was just amazing. Not greasy and not salty. The shrimps had a good size and texture. Definitely good if you are looking for hot and slightly creamy food on a gloomy day.The restaurant inside has plenty of seating and good music but not noisy that you cannot hear the person in front of you.The service is 10/10.I would 100% come back again, and again, and AGAIN to Taipa Peruvian Restaurant.
I’ve been going here for a while now and I’m very picky with Peruvian restaurants. But the food here stands up to its cultures standards AMAZING, the service and people are wonderful, and the restaurant is cute. The food doesn’t take a long time to come out and usually is worth the wait when they do. Only thing that can be frustrating is that the parking can be tight but still worth it!
Good food, majitos are amazing, and great customer service.
Since i lived in Peru for 2 years, I miss authentic food. This is one of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve found from seeking them in the big US cities. It does come at a cost, but even the ceviche was filling. The food has a similar look and taste to Peruvian food in Peru.
What a wonderful atmosphere! with such delicious and authentic Peruvian food. The service is by Jorge was grade A, very attentive young man. I'm definitely going back and I highly recommend a visit.
Excellent!! We drove 30 minutes to find this hidden gem. If you love Peruvian food then this is a must.
