I'm really not sure about the poor reviews I've seen, but this is my experience: I stopped by to order for takeout. I ordered 2 vegetable rolls (special - NO asparagus and NO cucumber), 2 tuna rolls, and a California roll.When I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by a server to directed me to the hostess at the cash register. She took the order correctly the first time. After I placed the order and paid, she said that it would be about 15-20 minutes.I sat down and waited. I looked around at the diners and everyone seemed pleased with their food and were having a good time. The ONLY downside was that it was quite warm in the restaurant. Granted, there may have been an issue with the A/C and it was an extremely hot day.The food was ready for me to take away in about 17 minutes. When I got home, I unpacked the bag and opened the containers. Whoever made the rolls did a great job of rolling them. The vegetable rolls were generously filled with the carrot and avocado that I ordered as were the other rolls. There was just the right amount of pickled ginger, wasabi and shredded beets.I noticed a few reviews complained about the prices. I think that a lot depends on not only the location of a restaurant (rents) but also, all of the seafood at a sushi restaurant has to be sushi grade to make sure that it's not only fresh, but free of parasites. Since the pandemic, everything has skyrocketed in price and restaurants are no exception.We were pleased with our order. The restaurant appeared clean, the wait staff was attentive, and the orders were taken correctly. I would definitely return here for sushi again.
The manager, Brandon, was incredibly attentive with his service and attention to detail. My experience in the Sushi Sake Killian location was much more pleasant than a previous experience I had at another location. Great quality food, I highly recommend visiting this location. DONT EAT at sushi sake, the staff is rude and they use 0% food safety procedures. I found a hair in our sushi roll! Disgusting!
I love their combo of sushi rolls. however, I think they need to work on their sushi rice water-to-rice ratio because the rice in my rainbow roll there was more squishy than sushi rice should be ?
Today Friday April 15th, Our order came 100% incorrect and also from 35 min. took more than 1 hour. We were very disappointed because I can’t understand that there is no process to verify the orders before they close the bags.But I am giving one star because what is worst is the customer service. I called and the lady that answers the phone Hang up to me while I was reporting the mistake. I am so sad that for employees like her make this type of business in bad situation and in bad reputation.I called again after they hang up and Damarys that she is in charge of the restaurant was very nice and understood the situation and supposedly she was going to take serious.
I placed my order on the web and thought nothing of it until I went to pick it up. My order total was different than what the restaurant charged. Apparently, the website goes thru an app and there was an up charge of $30 for me ordering online and picking it up myself. This is unacceptable! I understand the upcharge if you are having having it delivered, otherwise you are robbing people. The food was soggy, sauces had spilled on the food, and overall very disappointed.
Nice people, and the Sushi Master knew and followed my instructions as per my request. First time I find people that are willing to accommodate their customer.6 stars in my book.
horrible, experience. called ahead of time to see the wait time and was told 15 minutes, when we arrived they told us 20 minutes and we were fine with that and sat and waited. 30 MINUTES passed and nobody has greeted us and the restaurant isnt busy at all. we had to get ahold of the server (who was standing in the back on her phone) and she said she would come to serve us soon. everyone in the restaurant was already eating or waiting for food and we were the ONLY table who hasnt been greeted. we waited another 10 minutes and havent even been asked for our drink orders. beyond horrible experience and horrible, rude workers. eventually had to leave from being ignored for 40 minutes. never in my life have i experienced such horrible service from a restaurant, and im especially shocked for the horrible service from such a pricey restaurant. horrible location do not go there and give those servers your money
You know that during this pandemic that we all suffer from. People in the hospitality business are also enduring this pain and suffering.We are not robots.Please give us an extra couple minutes to meet your needs.We are also suffering and unknown to you we are understaffed and overwhelmed , because we now have extra jobs to do.
I ordered the lunch special which was $15 for the teriyaki chicken and this was the portion I received. I think that this is a ridiculous portion, I understand it is a lunch size but this isn’t even enough for a child. Also for the price I would’ve hoped it would’ve been more. Very disappointed won’t be coming back.
