Food smelled very good. But the portions looked very small. Three little pork chops for $42? Drinks were very good except âSpice of Love.â I wanted to eat, but I knew I would have to spend $100 to get full. Nice place. I hadnât been there in decades. I will go back; I liked it. Nice atmosphere. Workers were friendly. Just gotta eat before I go. Lol.
We arrived an hour earlier (my mistake) and they accommodated is quickly. We were actually the first people to arrive so it wasnât a problem. We chose to rot inside because it was very hit and humid outside but the patio area is so cute- pergola with ivy and beautiful lights. Inside was also very nice with great Latin music playing a a volume to allow conversation without yelling. Our waiter was very friendly and not phased by our several special requests for our orders. There was a great special for an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $28. My meal was delicious- corn ribs, salmon skewer, and mini torrejas.
Perfect place for brunch in Miami, food was great and service was even better. Will be coming back soon.
Every single item we had at SUGARCANE was incredible! The drinks were delicious (especially liked the Spice of Love and Froze), and our server gave great rum recommendations. We decided to order lots of small plates, and each was better than the last. The corn ribs, crispy polenta, and goat cheese croquettes were probably our favorites, but it's hard to choose. Would highly recommend!
Overall it was an okay experience, nothing crazy but good enough for a Wednesday evening dinner. The food was good, fried duck rice was actually pretty good. Sushi was good too.
I am disappointed in the food which used to be delicious and is now average.
Wonderful service and great cocktails. Great location with lots of parking nearby (street and garage 2 blocks away). Definitely recommend making it to their happy hour. The staff was welcoming and kind. I will definitely be coming back during the week.
