Truly one of the best slices you'll find in South Florida. The place gets a bad wrap because of it's grungy decor but it's been a staple of Miami for years. Anytime I have friends or family from out of town come visit I bring them here and it's never disappointed. Be prepared to wait regardless if you call ahead for pick up and also willing to dish out some dough to eat theirs. The time and money will surely be worth the investment.
Pretty done with this place. We have had our Friday night family pizzas from Steve’s for over 25 years and within the last two years the quality just continues to consistently decline. Almost every other week the bottom of our pizzas is burned way past normalcy and tastes flat-out nasty, like your eating coal with some cheese. We are sure to mention everytime please to not burn our pizza, but that request is often ignored or forgotten. The fact we even have to mention that before each order is ridiculous. The cheese is always fine but that’s the only part you can eat anymore. Might as well put a couple cheese slices in a bowl and microwave it for the same quality of pizza. Covid was an excuse at first and on every time it was burned we would call back and they’d give us a refund or try to make it up, customer service is rarely a negative, but at a certain point you run out of patience - two years of calling back at least once a month will do that to you. Ownership must have changed because we were without issue for decades and now it’s completely reversed course to your sub-par lazy college 1-star pizza stop. The basics just flat-out neglected. There are multiple other pizza spots within 1 mile, no reason to stay loyal when you can’t do the bare minimum. Sad to see another Miami favorite lose its spark.
The best pizza anywhere in Miami.
Great pizza same spot forever
Horrible horrible horrible!!! Over priced garbage and on top of the cake was over charged!!! By a cashier with a disgusting attitude!!! It seems that they only care about “regular” costumers and not anybody else. See you NEVER.
Simple and very good pizza, would consider it to a New York style pizza. They have common choices (pepperoni, chesses, olives, etc) They are usually very busy during the evenings, but they are fast. Recommend takeout if ordering. The place is small, has indoor and outdoor seating, but limited.I recommend it if you are looking for simplicity, but good for the whole family to enjoy a pizza night.
Horrible tasting pizza. Avoid if you like vegetarian pizza, flavorless and all you can taste is the sickly sweet sauce . Owner should be ashamed of themselves for the small pizza price($17 including tax). Would of just got some slices to try but honestly disgusted me how they have the slices out between customers and the staff. No spit guard and customers actively speak over pizza slices meant for everyone. staff was nice I guess. Low key I would like a refund though
Went to Steve’s Pizza at a less busy time so no long wait for the pizza. Ordered a very thin crust pizza and it was delicious. Staff friendly, clean environment.Only negative comment was that the outer crust was burnt.
Been coming here well over 25 plus years! If Possible it only gets better pizza is the best in North Miami , don’t expect frills, just delicious food! My favorite pizza it’s just plain old cheese! Serves always fast & friendly !!!
Steve's pizza was great, however the wait time was incredibly long. The place is very small with limited seating both indoor and outdoor. The place is incredibly popular so make sure you plan ahead. We were told about 30 minute wait time and it was almost an hour before getting our pizza. The pizza is good and the staff is friendly but I'm not sure if its worth the wait.
