The only reason I'm giving a star to this place is because that is the only way I can review it. This place was Terrible terrible!!! We had 11 oysters out of a dozen which were terrible and tasted like NOTHING like water. Then the service was also terrible we asked for sherna and they came back and told us they didnt have sherna fish and said we should get the whole fish we said okay. The fish never came after 40 minutes we decided to leave they charged us $30 for 6 beers and had to pay for the 3 terrible oysters we ate. We asked to speak to the owner Sonia a woman that was older and she was rude woman. She said we had to pay the whole price for the terrible food. Horrible horrible place and food. Will never return here again. This place SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!

This place should be shut down. The food is very nasty, the waitress are very unprofessional, and the music is extremely loud that does not let you talk or hear. Also, if you tell the dj to lower the music a little bit he gets very angry. The fish is extremely salty and sickining. Also, The parking is very trashy and limited space. I punctured my oil pan getting in it. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE!

Not what it used to be. Came on a Saturday the day before Mother’s Day 2022 and they only had 2 ladies working the front of house. All the tables had dirty dishes. We were patient but what made us get up and leave were two major factors, no one greeted us when we walked in and you can feel the tension in the place. Second, one of the ladies started cleaning the vacant tables instead of our table. Won’t be coming back here for a long time.

Great place, fresh fish.... little expensive but is fine...

We visited this restaurant on Saturday around 2 pm and it was half full. It took 50 minutes to bring the first appetizers. The quality of the food was acceptable but pricey. The dessert that we ordered was not available and the espresso machine was broken. They brought me the check before we finished eating. Never again

Great food Great atmosphere! Need better parking lot.

My experience in this restaurant was the work they didn’t even greet us when we came in, we waited more than 20 minutes for them to serve us. Another extra 20 minutes for one soup. They gave us the wrong order. The tables were all dirty. We decide to stand up and leave because the food here is not worth it. Don’t come in This place if you do t want to have a bad time. I don’t recommend it.

Very nice place. Only one lady serving the tables and taking orders. No employees!. The food was ok. The view is fantastic. We had 2 huge lizards approaching our table. It was scary for me but they were only hungry not trying to hurt us. I will definitely come again ?

If you have someone in your friend group or family who says there's better clam chowder any where in the world, tell them they're wrong. Very, very wrong. Sonia's Island has the most nutritious, fresh clam chowder I've ever tasted. And this is coming from a connoisseur. My favorite part is how the light, yet rich flavor. You can tell there are layers of flavor that have been meticulously built in.If clam chowder isn't your thing, the menu doesn't end there. And make sure you get seating outside for the best experience. Literally right on the docks. It doesn't get much better than Sonia's Island!
