The guy in front of the business was so nasty, rude, and with very bad attitude. He attend us so bad, just because of that I don’t return to this place . Food was ok , but expensive. Think before you visit this place
My friends and I had dinner at Helmand's on New Years day. It has been newly reopened and newly redecorated. Lovely interior and much more spacious looking. We pretty much all had a lamb dish of one sort or another and the food was delicious. Well prepared and nicely seasoned. Staff is gracious and accommodating. Good prices. Great neighborhood place. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic spot. The gentleman that initially took care of me (who I believe was one of the owners) was kind of cranky and moody, but the lady that followed up and took over (who I believe was also an owner/wife) was just simply amazing. Kudos to her for making it a great overall experience. The food was superb and I will be coming back whenever I'm in the area.
We got there right when the restaurant “opened” only for the man in charge to tell us he needs 5 or 10 more minutes. Strange, but OK.Eventually, he unlocked the door and let us in and we proceeded to order for take out. The food was good (and Halal), but the man made it seem like we were a burden on him simply for being paying customers. Customer service needs improvement.
I go to this place all the time and I love it, delicious foods I always order the shawarma mix wrap. My mom and I love it, we also love the great service and how lovely the workers are. Every time I come here I feel welcomed and reconnected to my Arab roots.
I wont even give one star to this restaurant. Wont get even free food from them. Manager is so rude You wont ever come back once you talk to him. Can’t believe how these kind of restaurants are still running with that worst customer service.
The beef and lamb shawarma wrap arabia and the chicken shawarma wrap arabia are the best shawarmas I’ve tried in America. I have never been let down by Lebanese cuisine. I really recommend it and it is halal which makes it even greater.
Amazing food!!Hummus, Taboule, falafel and chicken shawarma excellent and tasty. Three of us ate and all were amazingly surprised on how delicious everything was.Had an issue with the order and called back and they resolved immediately. They are close bye so no issues in picking up the missing item. They gave us a complimentary baklava which was also amazing.Help support this business run by husband and wife as they are contributing to the community with great food from their heritage. Not easy now days to find help and maintain a business with COVID Even though it is the two of them and service can be slower than anticipated they are good people and have amazing food.Great start to 2022.
Growing up in Dubai I have been looking for places where i could get an authentic Arabic shawarma. Everything else has been a poor pale twisted American version of it. Definitely recommend it
Not a good a Mediterranean cuisine. Very bad Shawarma and the bathrooms are filthy. I don’t usually review restaurants but when I saw that this restaurant had 4.6 rating I had to visit but it was very misleading and disappointing.
