I wanted to place an order of the Nicaraguan platter as I didn’t want to cook on December 31st.What a big disappointment it was to place an order from this place. First this platter came with food that typically Nicaraguan platters don’t come with.The platter is described asGrilled steak, blood sausage, grilled pork, sausage, green plantains, refried beans with sour cream, chicken tacos, sweet plantains, fried pork with yucca, fried cheese, corn tortilla and cole slaw.Well it came with rice and beans not with refried beans, also it came with chicken wings never have I seen that in any Nicaraguan platter, and I’ve been to the best here in Miami which is El Madroño, Pinolandia and Guayacan.I place the order here because it was the only place taking orders and now I know why.The worst Nicaraguan Platter.Meat was so hard, nothing had any flavor.Never again ordering from this place.I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Second time I have been here in 3 years. Guyacan is normally my spot but it was crowded today. Weird. Food on POINT. I was flicking starving after who knows what I got. Covid for the 5th time? ?. Anyways my treatment is to GO ?♂️ with sun at SB.My nasal passages CLEANSED. I was craving ?? food. The SERVICE IS EXCELLENT HERE! Alex is becoming a true 305 Hustler! Owners BOW DOWN to Alex. Affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner. We've been here many times and the food and service is always great. We hade the huevos rancheros and fresh juices. Amazing and reasonable prices.
Been there twice. After ordering Punta de Filete a la Jalapeña the first visit I went back a few months back because the meat was really good tasty and tender. However the second visit was a different story the meat was not the same, meat was chewy and low quality. On top of that they were blasting reggaeton music at 11:00 in the morning!! I complained with the server about it but they just ignored my request to lower the volume. I just wanted to eat in nice relaxed place like the rest of the customers who you could tell were an older crowd.
I usually order to go. Decided to take my mom there. A older short women with glass took care of us, we’ll half way if you can say that . I wanted the usual that I order all the time . She was insisting in us ordering something else lol. I was like no ! I want this! Next time thank you . I am guessing she was upset . About that . She would pass by us and not even look at us . Like our table was invisible . Finally the one who finished us and brought me the check and gave the check back , was the bus boy . Really nice man with blond highlight . I love the food there . I will never have her serve me again ! I wasA server for 11 years! I don’t need to pay for this kind of negative energy . I still gave 20% because I was a caring ethical server !
