So sad this restaurant has gone down hill in food quality and service. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years but in the past couple of years the food has changed from what it used to be. Don’t know if it’s changed ownership but definitely something is different. Service was so slow and there wasn’t a lot of customers. If you went on a weekend in the past you would have to wait for a table. I’m definitely not coming back!
Our first choice was closed as it was a Monday, so we were taken by friends local to the area to Sea Siam. Their sushi bar, upon entering, immediately catches your eye with its seafood offerings! We sat down and were immediately attended to. Drinks were ordered and we were left to peruse the menu. As our friends had previously been here, they already knew what they were going to order. We were in the mood for sashimi and sushi as it is not something we have readily available back home. One of the dishes ordered was a Pad Thai which did not taste right to our youngest member at the table even though she had ordered it before. The sushi and sashimi were tasty as well as a few rolls that we ordered. Nothing out of this world. Overall, I found the restaurant pricey for what was ordered.
Always great food and service. The ginger sauce shrimp was one I hadn't tried before - really good. Yellow chicken curry is always good. Ate too much & enjoyed every bite.
This is my 4th time here and I must say their food is really good! Amazing. The service great! I’ve tried food from a Thai person that cooks amazing and trust me this restaurant gets very close to it. Food is fresh, prices are comfortable and food portions are great! I wish them the best! ❤️
Beautiful place with great food and service, where we've been coming for, oh, 20, maybe 25 years. Lots of great choices on the menu, but my favorite is the crispy duck ?.
Supposedly the photo is the same fish. Looks like food poisoning to me. Spent $100 on food we had to throw out.
One reason I rated this place a four-star was because the water made my throat really scratchy and it looked like it was dirty the cups look like they were dirty. With the California rolls it came with 10 pieces they were pretty good size not small not eight pieces thank you for giving us a good proportion of California rolls. They were just decent they weren't all that they had imitation crab cucumber whatever comes with a California roll that's cheap it was decent rolls. Nothing too crazy.
Take out order- their phone wasn’t working so we went there to order. They have one overworked person taking phone orders, managing takeout, and running credit cards. Took 10 minutes to get her attention to place our order, and was told 45 minutes wait. 45 minutes later was told “I don’t know, much more time”. Waited 15 minutes for more clarification. When pressed was told “ I don’t know, maybe 30 minutes”. Currently going home without food an hour later
This restaurant has excellent food and a good atmosphere; I especially like the crispy duck. However, the reason for which I issue this rating is because of the pettiness of whoever is managing this place. I invited my family for a birthday and when I mentioned that there is a birthday so that they'd bring a small dessert and sing, (as I had previously), the staff said that if I wanted that they sing Happy birthday and bring a dessert, I would have to buy a full dessert. I may be old-fashioned, or restaurants are simply becoming more parsimonious (tight, frugal), but I was taken aback especially with the fact that I just paid nearly $250 and the waitstaff add themselves a 20% tip automatically, which I do not feel the waiter deserved. I do not blame Andrew the waiter's unwillingness directly, but his management needs to acknowledge that this act of pettiness cost the restaurant my patronage, a patronage of 20 years. As the Spanish saying goes, "lo barato sale caro".
Really nice place to get Sushi. The boat for two is a good value and, very tasty. Service is good in spite of being shorthanded (like everyone else). There's a full bar and, some interesting Siamese decorations. Seating is comfortable. Clearly, this is a Mamasan and Papasan operation and, pride in ownership is quite apparent. I would highly recommend Sea Siam.
