Went here for the first time because my boyfriend's friend wanted to hang out. He's a regular here. The plates here are shareable which is really nice. We had a seafood hotpot that was really good - at first the smell threw me off but I think it's because of the mix of different seafoods but then it goes away. After the hotpot, we had two dishes - one was the Basil Chicken which comes with veggies & and other was a mix of three meats (chicken, pork, beef) that is battered, fried and covered with a really good sauce. I enjoyed both but liked the battered one more. The Basil Chicken was very aromatic though, and smelled amazing. I also had Thai Ice Tea - it was my first time having it so the strong taste was something I wasn't used to with the first sip but after a bit (and drinking it while eating the food) was nice since it gave a cooling affect inbetween the spiciness of the meal. The tea hits you with sweetness at first and the black tea taste trickles in after. Anyway the experience was enjoyable and would want to come here again!

I've been coming to this awesome restaurant for years and it never disappooints. The crispy duck with basil, the pad thai, the satay and the spring rolls are delicious!!! It's great to have this neighborhood gem still around. For many more years and yummy meals!

This place made our day today. The food was simple, delicious, and decently priced. We went there for lunch and were given a very simple menu. We got the transparent noodles and the Thai curry chicken. Lunch comes with a small soup, one fried spring roll and white rice. Even though the food was not plentiful, it was enough for us. We really enjoyed each dish (including the sides). I did not expect to find a casual Thai restaurant I would enjoy that much in Miami. We will be going back for sure.

Rock a Bangkok is as authentic as it gets. Family owned and operated and always great service! Been coming here for years since I used to work next door, there curry is unbelievable have yet to find any other place that exceeds them. Always fast and friendly service and just one of the places you know you'll have a good meal every single time.

Rock a Bangkok is my favorite hidden gem. I’ve been coming for their amazing Thai dishes for years. Spring rolls are crispy with just the right amount of filling. I always get the savory pad see ew because of its delicious flavor. The house special “three karat chicken” was a new dish I tried and I’ll definitely be having that again. They also give rice with their dishes which really makes it into a full meal. I absolutely love the cozy restaurant. The service is fantastic and the prices are fair. Easily my favorite Thai place in Miami.

I have been coming here for years. This hole in the wall spot is GEM in the kendall area. This place gives you the family vibes, staff are very friendly and the food is so good you leave with your soul glowing. This is Thai Soul food. The best ever. Bring yourself here, you will not regret it.

Wow! This place is great. The house special is like an upgraded general tsos, Kom kha soup is so tasty, took a chance with the papaya salad and it was great. Our waitress was so sweet and took pride in the dishes. Definitely coming back!

Was in the mood for Thai and being new to Miami I decided to peruse the area/reviews. I ordered chkn pad thai with steam dumplings. The pad thai was a lump of orange soggy and tart noodles. The worse I've ever had. No bean sprouts, peanuts and sliced lime as I've had in other good Thai restaurants. Won't be back. Pretty much threw away the entire order. Dumplings were edible.

I've eaten here multiple times, and all have been really great experiences. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is fabulous. My personal favorite is the fried bananas with coconut ice cream.

Wanted to like takeout from this charming restaurant where staff was so kind. Sadly the food was not good. Had fried rice, pad thai and dumplings.
