Been to rickys before in the past and was good but omg this time we bought a lot of ribs and steaks. The baby back ribs were slimy and smelled like rotten meat. Same for the filet mignon. Had we eaten it we would have ended up in the hospital for sure. After looking at the packaging the date labels are all July 2000. I assume benefit of the doubt and all that the year was an error but to sell thawed out meat from July is gross and they shouldn’t do that. It gets 1 star cause we did get some ny strips and those were fresh and edible. I read in another review response that the scales are certified by dept of agricultural. I wonder if they dept of agriculture also certifies selling super old rotten meat mislabeled. Will never ever go back cause I choose life and not sickness. BUYER BEWARE!!

It's really inconvenient that prices can't be told over the phone. Every other butchee shop does it . Especially if you live far like I do

Can't beat the prices on most meat & fish. I love the individually wrapped tilapia sold 10lbs to a box. Shrimp, salmon etc. I go every few months it's like buying wholesale. ?
Place is really good to go and buy meat and some Seasoning. Good price as well.
This place has a great variety of meats and sea food. I have stopped buying at supermarkets and only buy here. Better quality meat at better prices. My go to place.
