I love this place. The food is good, the staff is better.
Tried to visit to have lunch while staying in the area. Great little market but all of the menu was in Spanish so we struggled to order.And none of the staff taking orders spoke English. So close to a tourist area this seems to be like it would be a norm. Fruit juices were good.
They used to make good tamales but today they were really dry and no pork at all. Looking for alternate place that I can order good tamales .
Go great place fresh produce and your original Cuban deserts and allot of other items. Thou I think it's great but a little pricey and during the weekend it gets a little crowded because of the amount of business they have. I recommend this place and there cooked food is really good very close to home cooked food.
I eat out often alot and I love sitting in to eat, but walking in to this place I knew it was a bad start. So I got my order of a steak with rice and black beans. They mixed our order up with 2 other guests who was next to us so after clearing the confusion with the server who took our order, the steak was extremely dry and I wasn't gonna eat rice and beans only.Let's just say as I someone with cuban heritage, this restaurant is very overrated. The benches to sit and eat in gave me a unresistable itch and I was not able to enjoy my food. Wouldn't plan on eating here again.
