Never been a fan of automatically including the tip in my transaction let alone 20%. As well as not having free refills on Pepsi products. Food was decent. But I like the aesthetics

Beautiful gem in Miami's historic Overtown area. Food is excellent and the ambience is superb.
Spence, our server, was the best! Iâve been to the Red Rooster in New York and own Marcus Samuelssonâs original cookbook. Iâm a huge fan of his cooking. His Overtown restaurant is special. Itâs in a historic building that has been restored with attention to detail. Now to the food. We had brunch. The deviled eggs and the cornbread are extraordinary. The avocado toast was innovative with a mahi mahi fish spread under the avocado. The two ingredients worked perfectly. We booked for brunch with friends already and this time after noon to experience the sounds of their chanteuse that arrive at noon. We intend to enjoy lunch and have the fried green tomato sandwich and dine there for the fried chicken and green tomatoes Iâve had in New York.
Restaurant ambiance was nice but food was disappointing. The lounge upstairs was WAYY overcrowded, loud and drinks were $20 each which was highway robbery especially for the type of lounge it is. Will never go to either again
Celebrated my Bday and had a really good time. Our server Carey was on point with everything and made sure ghe drinks kept coming. First time there and will def go again

Food and overall ambience were fantastic! Desiree made our celebration awesome. Congratulations to the total operation. The food flavors were so very well balanced. We look to returning and trying some of the other menu items that we eyed while passing our table. And the red rooster in the parking lot - great touch!!!!
Couldn't wait to the try chicken & waffles, not a fan. Waitress was horrible, didn't even get addressed for 15 minutes after sitting. Place wasn't even packed bar empty and maybe 10 tables filled if that. We seen the waitress at menu, water and checkout and it took her forever to do those, water 10 minutes more after the 15. Ridiculous. Been waiting for this since the lock down drove all the way from West Hollywood and experience sucked!
