This has to be the worst Pollo Tropical of Miami. I can’t believe how someone can manage this place and not be fired. This speaks very badly about the owner and Apollo Tropical standards in general.
So disappointed that you have taken the vegan meat off the menu. I tried the chicken but was not happy at all. Not sure I will be back.
This might be the worst pollo tropical location ever. Once upon a time, their food used to be good but lately the food quality and quantity is totally inconsistent and the service is slow. One day the food can be ok another day it is terrible.You never know what you are going to get. I recently ordered two churrasco tropichop, they came with half a cup of yellow pasty rice that looked it has been is the store for hours and three tiny pieces of meat. The food that I got look nothing like the picture advertised. If you like Pollo Tropical go to another store or you will be sorry. The staff and managers should be retrained.
Usually have good service here but today I ordered online to save time, they send my order would be ready at 7:19 p.m. on online order shelf. I arrived at 7:19 and there is no orders on the shelf, a line of people waiting for food and nobody would even acknowledge me. I could see bags of food behind the counter, but they were not talk to me until they cleared out all the people waiting for pickups. When the guy finally looked at me, my order was mostly ready, they were just not following protocol and placing the order on the fast pickup shelf. What is even the point of the online order if I have to wait 15 minutes inside? I didn't get my order to go until 7:35.Also the employees were using the same gloves to work at the register and handle food. So much for sanitation in a pandemic.Lastly they did not even include the sauces I ordered in my bag I had to request them and then they still did not give me all of the sauces that were ordered, but at that point I just left.
Very disappointed with the quality of the food lately here. They used to make the chicken Cuban sandwich with alot more chicken, Now they cut it super thing.
Out of all the local locations, this one by far does not mess up orders. Employees are always patient and kind to customers in taking orders and attending to their need in a timely order, they are under staffed but they have shown a very big team work on a daily routine and I recommend to drive to this one just to always get heard and taken care of
Hard working people making amazing food! You can’t beat the prices and service, it might take a little bit if it’s busy but trust it’s worth the wait :) even as a tourist
I sat in the drive- thru line for 15 minutes to pick up an online order to be told that I have to go inside and stand in line even though I am disabled. I have the order on my phone. I even have the credit card that the order was charged on. Very disabled unfriendly.
I come here very often since it is close to my house but it seems they do not have measurements for anything. Sometimes you will get a lot of chicken and other times it is 2 tiny pieces of chicken. Same goes for the yuca fries. It is incredible the amount of times they have used different packinging for the yuca fries. I never know what to expect and it is very disappointing.
