The customer service and this Pollo tropical is horrible, they only have drive-through but yet the dining area is opened. When you walk in they really tell you there’s no registers available you have to go through the drive-through. The portions of food are horrible it looks like someone ate from your plate. This is one Pollo tropical I will never go to. WAPOS
I came inside the restaurant at 2 pm to place an order, the lady at the cashier said that she couldn’t help me anymore because the manager said they weren’t attending anyone else, I nicely asked her that if she can she please help me because I wanted to eat inside. She did help me after that but then I noticed that several people started coming in and they weren’t telling them what she was telling me. I was given the food without a tray. Very unprofessional in her part. Everyone was able to place there orders and eat inside or take with them. They had plenty of employees here so it wasn’t an issue. I will not be coming back to this location which is the closer one to my house. Another customer lost. Bye! Thank you.
Worst Pollo Tropical in Miami! I’ve been going to this location for some time due to the proximity to my job, but not anymore. The manager is the most inconsiderate person ever. After a few minutes of waiting in line to order with some other people the manager tells us she isn’t going to take our orders because she only taking orders from the drive through. Hard to believe, because the doors were open. This isn’t the only issue that I’ve experienced at this location, that’s why I’m advising you all. Sometimes they’ll tell you they don’t have utensils. Then, how would someone stopping by to dine in will eat? Maybe they send the person to go buy their own? Wouldn’t doubt it. Other times they’ll have you waiting at the window for more than 15 minutes without acknowledging you and updating you with the order status. Lack of communication as well.
This has got to be the most abhorrent service I’ve received in any establishment let alone one that caters to the public. I find it hard to believe that in today’s day & age we can’t get an order put together the way it is received in the system. Now, I understand there are times when orders are coming in faster than normal but it seems as though this is a normal occurrence. It wouldn’t be much of an issue if you were able to contact someone whether it’s a manager or not and get the issue resolved but that’s not the case at all because nobody is available to answer the phone. I for one will not be catering (though we use you guys often) from here again. It’s a shame Pollo Tropical because you really do have a great product which everyone seems to like. Get your service act together before it reflects on your books.
At this location, employees are sneaky!! You need to check, always!, check your food before leaving this place. They miss to put some of my food I order. I placed a big order and they didn't put pieces of chicken. I order whole chicken and I got home to feed my family only 4 legs they put..and the other they miss to comple it too!! Incompetent employees!!!So disappointed!! Shame on you!!
This place is the worst! Every time I go there they gave me the wrong food, I order beans and no beans , I order crispy chicken and they gave me grill! If you go there at 8:25 pm they told you that they close even though the website said that they closed at 10:00 The management at this restaurant is rude.
30 min wait in this line, they offer curbside but don’t actually do it. They make you wait in the car line for pick ups as well. Once your in the line there no way out of it. The food was a mess when I got home.
Drive thru only.??online.??? OK let's hice the bad chicken. Always a bad experience on that place specifically. Rather drive to 56 st SW
Worst customer service. We arrive at 8:40 pm on 03/18/2022 , was open but the cashier said that she closed the cashier and the service was only drive thru.. one of the cooker was cursing in Spanish. The only employee that was helpful and has great customer service was Sarahy the employee of the drive thru.
This has to be the worst Pollo Tropical to ever exist. They never have sauce for meals nor do they ever have good customer service. Employees are so lazy and every meal comes with a side of attitude. Management has to step-in eventually, been the same excuse for reviews for months now “sorry to hear that! we’re working on it”. They don’t do anything about it, just close down and make it into something more reputable.
