Omg, 2nd time came here and food was not fresh. Bought 3 tropi chops 1 had a LIVE fly on it and the other had the beans spoiled smelling horrible. Had to drive back to get a refund on how frustrating I felt, skipped diner as it was getting late, didn't even get an apology, Manager just laughed with a coworker looking at me. Very disappointing service for a location in that bugee neighborhood.
This establishment by Coral Gables has a terrible habit of not caring for customers through drive-through multiple times I have waited more than 20 minutes for someone to attend me specifically right now it is 10 o’clock having multiple customers wait in line for more than 30 minutes for them to tell us there isn’t any more food? Terrible service and something needs to change in this establishment as soon as possible. Lack of Acknowledgment
A parking lot nightmare. Who TF designed this place. Always backed up to the street. Ordering in the mobile app doesn't make it easier as the chain still isn't up to the new standard of mobile ordering - order the food online and get what you actually ordered at a reasonable time. Better off going in and waiting in line.Still, that pollo value meal can't be beat. Near full redemption and will continue to return.
I went to this restaurant, finalized my order and then they say only drive through or online.They didn’t help me out by taking my order instead insisted on getting the car around.I made my order online on the website and it didn’t have Apple Pay and I don’t want to add my card to an unsafe website.After arguing they put up this sign on the door in front.
Fast and excellent service! David was very helpful, full of personality and has great customer service skills! My new go-to Pollo for sure! Will definitely be back. Ask for David, he’s great! :)
Ive been going to this pollo tropical for years, a while back this place sucked, and had no employees and bad customer service. around 3 weeks ago i started going again and saw alot of improvements, lots of employees, great service, clean restaurant and have a new administration, with new managers, and its great, hopefully it stays improving
They ran out of everything. On a Monday. At six. Only had rice left. No bananas. I ordered the rice ( since i had been in line for 10 minutes, and made 2 eggs and rice at home. Didnt have chicken! Didnt have maduros! Management must be out of town. There were four employees i could see, one ( male) with out masks, tsk tsk. Coral GB and 37th store. FYI
This is the worst pollo tropical. They only do pick up and drive through. No sense of urgency, the person prepping your bowl takes her sweet time, geriatric level speed, u could tell she didn’t care, and when i asked for my order she gave me a dirty look like “I’m prepping it”. I ordered online to pick up, estimated time was 15min since ordered was placed, i asked when the time was up, a younger nice lady said “they r working on it”, it took an additional 25minutes. And on top of that the lady says they r out of guava BBQ, i asked for regular bbq, she hesitates and says “no bbq either”. Sounded like a lie. Not even “sorry we r out, do u want another sauce?”. This is the third time i come to this location and they are always super slow. Do yourself a favor and Choose another location!
It was around 7 pm and they didn't take my order inside ,the lady told me to go by the drive thru but i had a high roof utility van and the roof of the area doesn't showed me a clearance wich is lower than my van for sure so i made for order for a long distance and the lady taking my order was upset cause she didnt listen clearly my voice so she told me to continue to the window when i get there they got me a wrong order ,and the man at the cashier he was trying to fix the problem and that lady inside she was upset with me and making gestures and putting my meals with bad attitude
After work i ordered a chicken Ceasar salad and received the driest salad ever and then i asked for ceasar dressing and they gave me garlic cilantro.I literally wasted money on something that I couldn’t even eat.The employees should be more focused and considerate.
