Their coffee is good but…I’ve been going to the Panther coffee shop since they opened five years ago and before that used to go to their location in Wynwood. I also buy there whole bean coffee a the supermarket. That said, I was really disappointed when they raise their prices so much that now it’s $8 for a latte. In Miami that’s a super overpriced. They charge extra, almost a whole dollar extra, for alternative milk, or even to put simple syrup in your coffee. Before, in the golden days, they had simple syrup dispensers at the bar, and now— I guess they figured they can charge extra for that, which they can share their own business. It’s just disappointing and I will no longer be going there. Also the baristas aren’t nearly as friendly as they used to be, and they take forever to even say hi, or let you know that they recognize your presence.I also recognize that inflation is a real thing and understand that businesses have to do what they need to do to survive but it just seems exorbitant and as a Miami local—seems catered now to people that may be used to paying those type of prices, instead of local people who are trying to support local companies.
Located near coco walk this place is good for a quick coffee break. I was rather disappointed with their east and west coast coffee. Coffee+milk options are limited so don't be surprised.I will not recommend to try any bakery products they were super dry with very mild flavoursOver all a good place for 1 time visit.
This coffee shop has this magical way of feeling local and community-based while also emoting the Miami vibe. It’s located in the heart of Coco Grove which is such a cute area! The decor is really awesome, and I think the coffee is really good. If you want good coffee and good vibes plus a quaint, local surrounding area, this is definitely a spot you’d want to visit.
When I first moved to Miami Panther was my go to. Also, I remember around Jan 2021 prices were a bit less. Maybe inflation but personally have had much better coffee for a better price point.Nowadays for a medium latte with no specialty added, $8. Definitely due to it being in coconut grove and having added tourist tax, but generally okay coffee. I would recommend Chugs diner down the street over Panther. The baristas were nice, but atmosphere also unwelcoming. In addition, the bathroom is awfully dirty and lacking.Lastly, finding out from another review that a barista tip is already added and that is not clearly shown makes today the last day I will be giving panther coffee my business. As a student with limited funds who values where I give my business, I require transparency.I never give one star reviews but genuinely extremely disappointed.
They add a 15% tip automatically on every transaction and have extremely fine print displaying this in addition to their increased prices. Additional tip is still encouraged. After a 1 dollar tip my total was $13 for a medium iced latte and a bottle of water.Internet is also spotty so had to connect to the Starbucks network from across the street. Will not be coming back.
We loved Panther Coffee! Made sure to get a bag of whole beans to take home too. Very friendly and welcoming environment.
Consistently, the best machiato around
Excellent coffee. It was 55• in Miami and how to say no to a delicious and warm coffee. The service is fast and the staff is very nice. Place was crowded and it meant the place is amazing and it does. Thanks for my cappuccino with macadamia milk!
A little hole in the wall spot, but definitely a hidden gem! Coffee was strong and tasty, I ordered the 'Fabulous Coffee' which was an iced coffee with grass jelly. Really good!!! Parking is in the back of the building. Love the decoration it's a very cozy spot to read or do your homework or get stuff done on a laptop. Highly recommend. It looks ghetto from the outside but inside is cute.
Came here by chance while I was walking by. It's located where the Red, White, and Blues restaurant was before they moved to The Playhouse. Sleek and roomy inside with a large coffee bar. Counter service with get-your-own utensils and water.
