I love the uplifting purpose of this coffee shop. This is from their web site "We are a non-profit corporation that runs a coffee shop in a facility that provides vocational training, education and employment opportunities to adults with intellectual and cognitive disabilities." Adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities are twice as likely to be unemployed as the general population despite having skills and the willingness to work hard. The mission of Our Grounds is to provide self esteem boosting meaningful jobs to this underserved segment of the community.I have had Our Grounds bookmarked forever but the timing never worked out right because they close kind of early, at 4:30 everyday. I was finally in the area at the right time and I am so glad I was able to stop by this lovely coffee shop for an afternoon java fix. They have a cute little patio area outside and a welcoming interior with couches, tables, and chairs. They provide wifi so you can work as you sip and nosh. The menu includes a variety of coffee and tea drinks, croissants, toast, bagels, and baked goods along with weekly specials like ice cream by Sweet Lichs.I ordered an iced latte and an almond croissant. The latte was delicious and the croissant was very fresh. They were perfect afternoon pick me up. You can support Our Grounds by visiting the physical location but you can also make a donation on their website. They are looking for volunteers and local businesses to partner with them. I would love to see their shops and message spread.
What a wonderful place and with a cause. This non profit coffee shop is a magical employing special needs individuals. So whether you want some delicious coffee, breakfast or lunch, they have what you need. I highly recommend Our Grounds
I came here with my daughter we are both coffee lovers, the vibe and taste of the coffee was amazing. I had a nitro brew and my daughter an iced caramel coffee.Will come back soon!!
Coffee is amazing and pastries are very delicious. I reccomended the almond croissant. The decor is very cute an inviting, makes you want to stay and relax. It's a community business with a conscious. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Absolutely cozy family owned coffee shop. Clean and neat. Sandwhiches, baked goods, are a must. Our go to place to snack and rewind with delicious coffee during the day.
Súper yummy. My iced chai tea latte and cortado were perfect and I got a breakfast croissant that was so delicious. I wish I lived closer to visit every morning. 10/10 definitely recommend this spot.

On vacation, we sample coffee places. This was noticeably the best one. We also noticed that they are a nonprofit with a mission to work with individuals with disabilities within the communty. Love that they have a passion within the community and my wife and I appreciate that.
