Portions have been reduced and we got charged extra for sauce that went with our dishes.
This was my first experience at North Italia. The food and the service were great. And I thought the prices were reasonable.
The atmosphere was very nice. You could actually hear yourself and the waiter speak. Most outstanding was the food. All our choices were prepared with good seasoning and portioned well. We will return here for sure.
Salad was delicious and my salmon was cooked as I requested and not dry. My cup of coffee could of been hotter, temperature was close to medium, I donât think they realized it. My Server and staff were exceptional. I give my overall experience 5 Stars for excellence!
Good food and service. We may have thrown the kitchen into a tizzy when we asked that the raw red onion on the burrata be left off due to an allergy to raw onions. The kitchen was then concerned about there being onion in pretty much everything they served. The manager came out to clarify and all was well again. Ambience was good and we had an enjoying evening double date night.

A messy organization at first ruined a bit the dinner for us but the restaurant made a nice gesture to make up for it. The servers work hard but and are friendly but on point and overall it feels so uncoordinated. A shame because the place is nice and the food is amazing. Bad luck on us, but the place showed care and did their best afterwards so no hard feelings. Do give them a try !
I love this restaurant but unfortunately this time I didn't have the best experience. I arrived at 5pm and until 5:15 I had to go to the hostess and informed her that no one came to the table. After 5 minutes the waiter came and apologized saying that she was at the bathroom (I don't think this is something she has to said). she took our order, bring the drinks. Once the main course was in the table (spaghettis) the person that bring the Pasta didn't offer any parmesan cheese for our pasta, so we wait for our waiter but she was taking care of other tables and ignores that we were looking at her and calling her with the hand (obviously I'm not going to scream to call her), with no success I had to stand up and ask another person for my parmesan cheese. I love the restaurant, a minimum of twice a month I go there and the service is always good, I don't know what happened this time because the restaurant was empty. I'm manager of 7 restaurants and this is something that shouldn't be happening and more if the restaurant is empty and there's a fail since the beginning. Hope the feedback help to improve.
We had dinner for 3 adults for dinner. One of the orders of Chicken Parmesan did not have any marinara sauce on the side of pasta. We asked if the server could get us a little and never said it would be an additional cost. Two tablespoons were all that was used from the small dish provided. When we received the bill the restaurant had the nerve to charge $3.50 for the sauce. Due to our time constraints for that evening we did not contest it as we had to leave. We have been going North Italia in Dadeland since it opened as well as the Brickell location. The food and service is always good. To charge a guest for a little sauced is like charging someone for ketchup for their burger. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths and we will think twice about going again.
