My wife found this little gem.So we decided to take a chance today (Mother’s Day)A great decision. Food was great. I had the ribs with sticky rice and noodles. My wife had the shrimp rice noodles and the wings. All tasted amazing. Now if you haven’t been here, the food places are all in a building called EL citadel. Great concept, food choices and drinks / music under one roof.Been to a place in Atlanta and food was great. We got a little confused and luckily staff are super helpful.Gentleman at lil Laos was helpful with the menu. Now just some advice to the management, we got very very confused about the seating. Again a really nice guy called Drew( who we found out was a server), he explained to us he can get you your drinks from bar whilst you look at scam menu and pick your food, whilst having a beer or cocktail , you then go to whichever food vender you choose. They take your cell number and cell text you. We felt bad for drew as he obviously works on tips, and he was so helpful that we tipped him just for spending time to explain to us in such a friendly way, thanks Drew. We will be back and we now know

My food was undercooked and the portions are very small . There is no point to spend 80 bucks for 2 + the worst service in town ??????

Papaya salad and shredded chicken soup were very bland.

Amazing place i telling you ! You gonna love it if you love authentic flavors ! It was amazing the only thing is the the strangest part of town, i wouldn't leave my car here, but we'll sometimes there is no where to park, and the music is horrible, us like that south park song when Stan only hears, you know, so bad, i wish they put some good music, not a guy in a guitar playing hold me tight, anyways, this place got you covered with drinks and don't forget to tip them, they come to your table and give you and Amazing meal!

Best food I’ve ever had. So many interesting dishes I’ve never even heard off. Lil laos stands out from every other restaurant at the citadel, respectfully.

Amazing and authentic food. Food came out really fast and had great flavors. The owner is a down to earth lady who can speak to each of the dishes on the menu. Lil Laos is a rare find in the Miami area. The spicy lime sauce, jaew som, was absolutely delicious. Super fresh and zingy, honestly could drink it from a glass. Crispy pig ears (Khiab Huu Muu) was served with the spicy lime sauce (jaew som)! Very popular!!The Citadel is a hip food area that has many additional options for everyone in the group.

A nice addition to the Citadel nestled in between other good restaurants and good ambiance. The lemongrass chicken with green papaya salad was filled with flavor and the right amount of spices. The only thing is that it took 37 minutes to get my food while the others got there food in about ten minutes and then the others didn't want to eat until I got my food so they had to eat their food cold.

The papaya salad was authentically spicy!

Wow, what a hidden gem. Delicious Thai inspired food. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem with tasty authentic indulgences. I have yet to try anything I didn't like and we typically order multiple times when we visit all the way from Homestead.
