First time visit from near Orlando on Wednesday afternoon. Working on building new Wawa near by. Nice clean & welcoming smaller restaurant. We got 3 sandwiches to go. The Media Noche, el Pernil & el Famoso con pan lechon. All were Very hearty, plenty of meat. My son was disappointed about the Pernil not being what 8t advertised. He was expected more crunch on the meat outer layer as we all know a great Pernil has. Also the plantain chips were mediocre. They were a bit stale. We warmed them in oven last night but still were not as good as when fresh. We would definitely go back though to try other entrees as a sit down dinner.
Food is good, but if you ever sit outside don't go with the waitress named Claudia they take forever and after 20 minutes of waiting when we go inside telling them we weren't getting our order taken another waitress named Claudia jumps in the conversation and says she knew we were there when in reality she didn't she would look at us and ignore us calling her. She said she knew we were sitting in another table apart from my parents and that she was going now. Then she walked away rolling her eyes at us. When in we never in any moment have attitude or disrespected her, we weren't even talking to her in the first place. We finally got out food at the end by another waitress cause she couldn't even bring it herself, point of the story people in the restaurant buisness shouldn't be working if they don't know how to do their job.
I would highly recommend the Chicharrónes. I ordered ahead and just walked in and my order was ready. I enjoyed this dish.
