Not even a year ago This used to be hands down the best Birria Taco spot, especially on tuesdays when the tacos are $2 ( if you get tacos for the regular price walk away, the price is too much for too little ) I fell in love with Taco tuesday because of La Catrina Steak Tacos for $2 every tuesday. It was not that long ago that you could get 3 tacos and a soda and be satisfied for 8$. Now the tacos are less than half the size and lower quality than they used to be for the same prize… Please if youre going to lower quality accommodate the pricing as well.
This is the BEST TACO in Miami!!! ? ? ?La Catrina Food Truck has the best Birria tacos, for the best price I have ever had (and I've eaten a lot of different tacos). The taco is 5 stars, the service is 5 stars, the price and deal are 5 stars, and the woman making the tacos ?, she is definitely 5 stars as well.I ordered 45 tacos for myself and family (6 people), half chicken and half steak. Everyone loved it, best tacos they have ever had, 10 out of 10, the tortilla is perfect, the amount of meat and quality of meat is amazing, the cheese is perfectly melted and delicious, and the Birria sauce just takes everything to another level. Everyone ate and was extremely satisfied, and we even had leftovers that lasted for a couple of days, so you can tell the tacos are very filling, and honestly just perfect. I also feel sometimes, the taco is even better the day after somehow, impossibly great.You can't go wrong ordering either a Chicken or Steak Birria Taco, I recommend ordering both, and for only $2 on Tuesdays, you can't beat that deal, you can't and won't find anything better. I love La Catrina, just an amazing and awesome food truck.
I ordered 4 orders of pastor tacos and 1 steak birria and they just didn't do it for us. Birria tacos were dry and didn't really have much flavor the dipping soup on the side looked and tasted like grease soup. I was also really upset when i got the pastor tacos because I had asked before receiving my order if the tacos contained pineapple which I was told yes but when I received not one but four orders of tacos there was not a single piece of pineapple ? you can imagine my disappointment after ordering that many because Its not like they were cheap to begin with the tacos are almost $5 each and for the quality really not worth it at all. The flavor of the meat is also whatever is nothing special. Also if you order a drink they give it to you warm not cold ??♀️ my experience was just terrible all together never going back
Food wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t go back. Haven’t tried birria tacos anywhere else to be able to compare but they were good just not the best tacos I’ve ever had. Service was good and quality seemed fine but i would want a little mores to choose from. Like guacamole and salsa would be nice. Also more drink options.
Paid $18 for 4 tacos that were cold and tasteless. Better off going down the street to tiagos tacos which are way better. Never going again
A local legend for Birria Tacos ? ?. We only had the Steak and Chicken Birria tacos and they were very good on a very busy Taco Tuesday. Specials were $2 Birria Tacos. 45minute wait after a long but quick line.
Mountain of cheese, three cubes of onions, overly salted chicken, no salsa verde, one piece of dry lemon when I asked for more I was told there wasn’t any… and only one flavor of jarritos. I’m more upset that I had to waste food because it was just unbearable.
IF YOU WANT AMAZING TACOS, THIS IS THE SPOT! (They only got Chicken, Steak and pastor tacos but trust me you don't need anything else)We got the Chicken & Steak Birria and IT WAS DELICIOUS! (Order comes with 3 tacos).We had eaten some Birria tacos in Wynwood. They were good, but we didn't want to drive that far. So we searched for some tacos around Kendall and I'm so glad we found this spot. (It's our new GO TO place) The shells were crunchy, the sauce didn't make them too soft & gave them so much flavor! DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE CHEESE!!! I can't even tell you which one was my favorite because I really enjoyed both of them! Try it, you won't regret it!
AMAZING ? tacos. I can’t believe I just found this food truck. We had tacos al pastor and chicken pizzadilla. Both were delicious. If you see this glowing food truck you definitely should stop. ????
Hands down, the greatest tacos in Miami Dade. Birria tacos are phenomenal. Great flavor, generous size and the dipping sauce is unbeatable. Can't wait to return and have more.
