I had a to go order for 2 Epecial Cuban sandwiches , 2 croquettes & 1 yuca fries . The fries tasted like they've been sitting for a while & the sandwiches (bread was tough) . Taste of everything was ok . I'll give this location another try .
Excellent service, superb cuban food and drinks. Lots of free parking with beatiful arquitecture and murals inside the restaurant that really makes you feel as you were in a well maintain old building in Cuba or nice place in Coral Gables. I guess you could called it a very nice mediterranean revival ambiance. I woud definetly recommend this restaurant.
Delicioso breakfast for a fraction of the cost! That’s Miami. Great service too for being a busy Sunday. Delicious orange juice. Thank you!
When you drive by and see the lot Completely fool with people circling looking for a parking lot you know the food's gonna be good, just went for a quick bite for lunch and had a delicious sandwich. Service was outstanding with almost everyone in the place checking on me to see if I needed anything. Great place for authentic Cuban food
Staff not friendly (well. Maybe if you spoke Spanish.... We don't). Food was good though, so I would def go back for that.
Always go to La Carreta for the big plate of Cuban food but I chose the Elena Ruth sandwich this time. Couldn’t have been happier. Overall, the place is mediocre, staff is nice but not overly nice, a bit disorganized, quick service, great & tasty food.
We were this past Saturday afternoon and we were dissapointed that they had runned out of a couple of items on their menu. So we ordered what was available. Seating was fast as the hostes basically to head to the back area and sit where ever we wanted. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the platano soup which was really good. We ordered the Cuban Special plate. This plate brought Tamal, Croqueta, Roast Pork, Picadillo, Fried Plantains or Maduros, White Rice, Black Beans, and Boiled Yuca! Although the waiter told me it was not a big plate honestly it is a lot of food. My friend ordered the Picadillo plate with Moros, and Fried Plantains. The food was tasty and there was plenty for the amount of money we paid which was around $30 without tip. All in all we will return.
Cuban food. Had the breakfast combo 2.Scrambled Eggs (scrambled or fried), fries, 2x croquetas, 2x sausage (or ham or bacon).
This is a nice restaurant and good cuban food. I will come back to try again.
I really expected more in terms of Cuban food but maybe I expect too much. I've never really eaten Cuban food before. I figured it would be a but tastier. Service was good though and the place was clean
