Excelentes platillos! Todo estuvo delicioso! ?
The food was good here and this location came highly recommended by my hotel since it’s the OG location on Felipe Valls road named after the founder of Versailles and La Carreta. Next time I’d like to try Versailles and it’s conjoined bakery and famous espresso. Onion soup was served warm and it was still quite good, the sampler items were a bit dry and very bland so I had to keep adding hot sauce to my preference. Staff is friendly and genuinely look like they enjoy working here, and there is also free wifi and free parking out front. Non-Spanish speakers will feel a bit out of place here. The interior is your average diner with long counter and barstools, and has lots of character.
All four of us had great meals. I got yellow rice with chicken it was excellent.my wife got a Cuban sandwich which she enjoyed very much.the service was very good. All the staff were very helpful and nice. Yes I recommend stopping by for some good food
food was great ,service was not good
Terrible service! We waited 15 minutes before our waiter came to our table after asking twice. They said she’s coming. After we got our food I told her the french fries were cold can we get some new ones she told me they just made them. Didn’t even acknowledge that they were called and walked away. Very rude. I used to live in Miami 30+ years ago and ate at La Carreta and wanted to go back to have a good experience and it was nothing but! Very disappointed. Never going back!
The food is amazing and the portion sizes are perfect. The cafecito is soooooo good! The thing that really set off the whole experience was that the service was so warm and friendly (Gracias, Mary Paz!)
I believe this could be the best Cuban food in town, everything is delicious and the flavour taste like the original recipe from the country, service is exceptional and the price is great.
La Carreta is always good. The owners are the same as Versailles, so it’s all good guaranteed. Food, service, beers and sangrias, environment! Excellent
I ordered a dish called Arroz Imperial, it was salty, cold, of poor quality, we asked the waitress to heat the food, she did not show the slightest desire to do so, the banana that is part of the dish tasted like old oil, poor quality and horrible fries. I really regret going to this place.
Incredible food! If there's a line see if any counter seats are open. Those are first come first serve. I had a mixed plate that was $13. So also incredible value.
