Food used to be better, now portions are smaller and quality has decreased a lot. Not to mention the rude lady (cashier) at the front. Definitely will not coming back. Only good thing to mention (out of 6 plates) is the duck noodle soup. The rest was very mediocre.
This is the only restaurant that me and my boyfriend have consistently gone back to since moving to Miami. Dim sum is served all day which is a huge plus. Dim sum is very good and comes out fast. Service is great as well, waiters always make sure that empty plates are taken away. Items from their menu are delicious as well! Highly recommend
Traveling back from out of town to visit an old favorites for years. Kon Chau certainly has some of the best Dim Sum I’ve grown up with. Today the food was a disappointment. The roast duck i’ve order was dry and lacking moisture and flavor. Several other items we’ve ordered tasted on the less seasoning side. I hope it was because of a busy peak hour. Staff was attentive, maybe way too attentive. We felt i comfortable with every one staring at us and constantly walking by and looking dowm at our table minute by minute. Maybe they consider this a reason to charge an automatic 18% tip on the bill. Its Covid but shouldnt the patrons be given a warning prior or given a chance to chose what they like to give?
I love coming here. It's always delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything. Best when shared with close friends!Edit for 2022STILL FABULOUS. They updated the inside so it's really fresh looking. Staff is really friendly! Our server Jin helped us with our order as we came with a large group and i wanted to make sure everyone had something yummy.This is one of my most favorite places to go with family.Shrimp and scallop dumplings are fire as are the soup dumplings, duck and pork buns and the leek dumplings!

This is my 2nd time coming to this restaurant. First time was before the pandemic started and we absolutely loved it, but this 2nd visit was even better than the first. The food was absolutely delicious, but what really made our night was the staff. We brought our 16 month old son to the restaurant with us, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They made sure he was comfortable and interacted with him as if he was family. My wife and I could not be happier with our night out and it is thanks to the wonderful staff here. He particularly enjoyed the duck bao bun, but he couldn’t get enough of everything we ordered.The soup dumplings were definitely my favorite item we ordered, but everything that ended up on our table was extraordinary.
We love this place! Be warned, they do Dim Sum a little differently (you order what you want. No karts). The food is amazing and if they have chive flowers available you will miss out if you don't order them.
